Friday||7 ways to Build from  the broken and shattered pieces

‭Hebrews 11:32-34 KJV‬ — And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: [33] who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, [34] quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Inspired by the story of how Samson regained his strength to cause havoc to the kingdom of the adversary; I want to share tips to build your life, ministry, marriage, business, and vision from the broken and shattered debris.

Sometimes, whether you like it or not, things don’t always go the way you expect. Think of the betrayal, disappoints, disloyalty and entrapments, and all the negative events that bedevils life; there are times when we all get broken in places that make it appear as though we shall never stand again. But I came to prophesy to you that I hear BREAKTHROUGH! breakthrough!! BREAKTHROUGH!!! You will come out and smile again. You will smile and laugh again! You are about to shout for joy!

I have good news for you! You will smile again. Don’t allow the present situation and circumstances discourage you. You will surely rise again! Shout for joy, the motherless shall hear the joy of carrying twins. No matter where you presently sit or stand! Even if you sit in darkness, the Lord is your light. He is your shield and buckler, the lighter up of your head.

The simple secret to rise, and build from the broken and shattered pieces are:

  • Shed the shame
  • Renew your mind
  • Trust God to turn your weakness into strength
  • Follow the still small voice
  • Pray
  • Don’t answer critics (just improve…)
  • Focus on your purpose and give it your all

Remember

Shed the shame!!

Don’t allow the pressure to show up and show off as usual, making you pretend and hide behind the make-ups. The woman of Samaria had a breakthrough when she shed the shame. What matters is your mindset and not the make-up!

Renew your mind

What matters is the mind set and not the make up! Forget about the make-up!  Nothing will change about you until your mindset and thought pattern changes.  The extent of your transformation is proportionate to the extent to which you renew your mind. You are transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Trust God to turn your weakness into strength

The strength of Samson was restored because he trusted God. Those who sold Joseph, sold him to make him weak, but he ended up becoming strong. Those who threw Joseph in jail, put him there to end his dream, but the prison became the connection to the palace. Pray that God will turn your weakness to strength! Pray that God will give you grace not to be discouraged nor faint at any of the adversities. May the Lord make you stronger. May you build up yourself in your most holy faith!

Follow the still small voice

All Samson had was a little boy who led him about. Sometimes, because of what you are going through, you can’t think straight. Your challenges and the shame that sometimes come with your loss and situation can impair your judgement; follow the still small voice and the foolishness of the preaching of the gospel.

Pray

  • Pray for grace to hold on until your change comes: Pray that God will activate the law of grace and the law of the spirit of life to quicken your mortal bodies. Pray for boldness.
  • Pray that God will truncate and terminate any situation or circumstance that gives the wicked one an advantage to mock and scoff at you: As Samson kept trusting God, he prayed that his strength shall return one more time.
  • Pray that God shall bring down and scatter the assembly and congregation of the wicked: Samson prayed that God will remember him and avenge him on his enemies. It is right to pray against the wicked.

There is a difference between sinners and the wicked. A sinner sins against God and his own soul; but the wicked perpetuate evil against others. A sinner may steal produce or product from a store because they want a cheap life BUT the wicked steals from your shop because they want your business to fail. The motive is what puts the difference between them.

Don’t answer critics

Please, when you have a life to build, a vision to rebuild, a ministry to raise; you don’t have the luxury to answer critics! We have a long way to go, we can’t stop at every instance and throw stones at every barking dog.

Focus on your purpose; Give it your all and be consistent

It is not by might not be power but by his Spirit. You will laugh again because all those who wrote you off will gather to help you.

Stay blessed
