We have already learned that there are many forces and personalities that influence the outcome of our choices, actions, and decisions. While some of these forces work against us, some are sent to work for us. Some of such personalities sent to work for us and to help us are angels.

These are some of the truths that men like Joshua understood and it transformed their ministry to the people of God. One day, Joshua lifted up his eyes and saw a man and asked a revealing question. This was in the plain of Jericho after Gilgal.

[Joshua 5:13‭-‬15 KJV] “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?”

“And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.”

Joshua knew that there are forces in this life that either work for us or our enemy. He was aware and was ready to deal with any situation.

The Truth about Angels —Understanding Why You Should Engage Them - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

Why should you access the ministry of angels?

Angels are ministering spirits charged to serve the heirs of salvation. They are sent to minister and assist us.

We must engage angels because they are created and charged to assist and serve us. You may have the Holy Ghost but that is not enough; you may be married but your wife is not enough; you need the assistance of angels too.

Angels are charged to serve or minister to the children of God. They are ministering spirits who are sent to minister to the heirs of salvation, and we are the heirs of salvation. Remember then that angels are sent to minister for the believer but they are agents and messengers, and servants of God. They are sent by God, we cannot call them; we can request for their assistance or service from God

[Hebrews 1:13‭-‬14 KJV] “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”

But you must understand that angels are agents, messengers, and servants of God in the rank of apostles and prophets.

  1. They do not accept worship or sacrifice.
  2. They are not answerable to men; they are only answerable to God.
  3. They serve those who keep the testimony of the Lord

Angels do not receive worship; just as apostles and prophets are not supposed to be worshipped. They are our fellow servants, sent to minister to the brethren. No good angel will take worship or sacrifice. Angels serve the Lord because of love and not for rewards or worship. They give all the glory and worship to God.

[Revelation 19:10 KJV] “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

We have learned they also serve those who have the testimony of Jesus.
One way to activate the ministry of angels is to hold fast to the testimony of Jesus, that He is the only begotten Son of God. This is a new testament teaching.

Angels, being agents and messengers and servants of God, are answerable to God. They are sent to both reveal and execute the will and judgment of God in our lives. Angels serve us because they love and are devoted to God, not to us. They will do what the Lord sent them to do, and not what we tell them to do. The Lord is the one who gives His angels charge; beware of angels that listen and obey you, they may be demons.

[Psalms 91:11 KJV] “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Angels serve us because they love and are devoted to God, not to us. They will do what the Lord sent them to do, and not what we tell them to do! - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

11 of the things angels will do for you

Angels have several services that they render to the heirs of salvation but are mainly twofold: to reveal and execute the will and judgment of God.

  1. Angels intercede for us (See Zechariah 1:12)
  2. Angels bring encouragement and messages (See Acts 27:23-25)
  3. Angels bring answers to prayer (See Daniel 9:20-27; Acts 12:1-11 – Peter)
  4. Angels Give directions (See Acts 8:36  – Philip)
  5. Angels provide protection, deliverance, and defense (See Genesis 16:7; Numbers 20:16)
  6. Angels bring provision ( See 1 Kings 19:5-7 – Elijah)
  7. Angels sustain the battle-weary that trust God ( See Matthew 4:11)
  8. Angels bring instructions (See Acts 10:3 – Cornelius)
  9. Angels give warnings (See Matthew 2:13 – Joseph)
  10. Angels execute the will and judgment of God. They protected Eden (See Genesis 3:24) and they brought the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah ( See Genesis 19:1)
  11. Angels are dispatched when there is any action that requires very intense strength and might. Like Rolling the stone from the tomb of Jesus. (See Matthew 28:4) fighting battles, and carrying loads and people

How to access angelic ministry

  1. Fear and submit to the Lord (See Psalm 34:7)
  2. Pray for them; ask the Father to dispatch them (See Matthew 26:51)
  3. Align with the Lord ( See Joshua 5:13-15)
  4. Submit to the authority set over you. Women should show submission in the church because of the angels. The angels of the Lord do not help those who are in rebellion.
  5. Yield to the will of God. Angels ministered to the Lord in the garden of Gethsemane because He was yield to the will of God.
  6. Keep the testimony of the Lord
  7. Acknowledge the presence of angels. You must acknowledge them.

The Bible compares our lives to a fight, a race, and keeping of faith. This journey can be both exciting and challenging, but my counsel is to stay in the fight, stay in the race, and keep the faith.

2020 has been a different year altogether; for some, there have been ups, and for others, there have been downs. Some of us may have had to relocate to smaller rooms, others may have to cut our standards of living.

Some have fought sicknesses and faced their fears. Just thinking about the anxieties, surprises, pain, rejection in some senses, the loneliness, those who have lost jobs and loved ones, and great opportunities; thinking about the businesses that have suffered, or have had to downsize, or laypeople they love off; I understand the mixed feelings. This 2020 has been a great but eventful year.

All I can say is, stay in the fight! Stay in the race! Keep the fight.

There is a man in the Bible named Paul, he accounts that there were times he was so pressed and persecuted that he was dispersed of life; yet he fought on and kept the faith. He said;

[2 Timothy 4:7 KJV]”I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”

He did not allow the momentary afflictions to force him out of the race. He continued and fought hard as a gallant soldier to finish his course. I counsel you to do the same. Look at what he told Timothy;

[1 Timothy 6:12‭-‬19 KJV]“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

“I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of Lords;”

“Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.”

“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

Stay In The Fight — How To Fight The Fight Of Faith To The End! - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

He taught Timothy, a young bishop to do 4 cardinal things;

  1. Fight the good fight of faith
  2. Lay hold on eternal life
  3. Keep the commandment without spot and unrebukable
  4. Charge them that are rich in this world not to be high minded nor trust inuncertain riches but to trust in God.

I want you to keep this truth in mind. As of this writing, basic school results have been released, and it has gone well for some but not so well for others. The year has been good for some but not so good for others. Some have gotten admissions to the colleges of their choice and others are yet to receive theirs. Some have their fees, others are still trusting God.

I have one counsel for you;

  1. Stay in the fight! Don’t give up if it has not been so great a year. Trust God.
  2. Stay in the fight! Don’t trust in riches and the promotions if it has been a great year. Trust in God.

Whatever you do; I counsel you to stay in the fight, run the race, keep the faith! This is because soon, very soon, Jesus Christ shall deliver us from all of this.

Our salvation and redemption are much closer than we think. Jesus Christ is coming again! Dont miss out! Get ready and keep watching and praying and pressing and doing good and serving; our labour in the Lord will not be in vain.

Don’t let the world and the popular, the glam and glitz, steal your heart. Don’t lose your convictions and faith. Never let anything make you turn away from the light.

Jesus Christ is coming again and I have no doubt that all of us can do better than we have done. You can aspire to work on yourself, to become a better you, but it will take grace – the grace of God.

Everyone of us children, youth, adults, men, women; everyone can improve and become better.

Neither lose heart nor become complacent. Let each of us resolve and trust God to make better choices and keep the faith. Don’t allow what you see around you change when is written in the word and on the tables of your heart. Let your eyes and gaze be on the Lord.

Our salvation and redemption are much closer than we think — Jesus Christ is coming again! - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

He is working around the clock to bring each of us to an expected end.

  1. Sometimes you feel like giving up because the pressure is too much. You are going through so much; but listen! God is on your side.
  2. Elijah felt like giving up, because he had fought the Lord’s battle; but the harder he fought, the more Jezebel turned on him. He was disappointed that God was not acting the way he thought. Please God’s plans for you are higher.
  3. Some feel like giving up because their hopes have been deferred. This is not the time to give up. Wait for all the days of your appointed time, until your change comes. There is a time appointed for the vision. In the end it will speak and not lie.
  4. Many more give up because they see the prosperity of others. Please, don’t fret because of the prosperity of others. God has a plan for each of us. Let us rejoice with those who are rejoicing and mourn with those that mourn.

Every one of us will come to an expected end if we stay on the fight, run the race, and keep the faith.

God bless you! I love you!

A thinker once said that four key desires drive human actions. These are desires; he never really said whether they are good or bad. They are just desires that drive human actions; but if not mastered, can lead to wars, conflicts, and even wickedness.

These brute beastly desires are;

  1. Acquisitiveness
  2. Rivalry
  3. Vanity (love of glory)
  4. Love of power

1. Acquisitiveness

If not mastered, acquisitiveness degenerates unto covetousness and greed; which is as the sin of idolatry.

Every child of God must tame the desire to acquire and possess. We all have a desire to acquire and possess, but it must be tamed.

2. Rivalry

If rivalry is not tamed, it becomes jealousy and envy. We are not willing to share things that are important to us but we will do well when we master this sense of rivalry.

When Rachel and Leah did not master this desire, they ended up sharing their husband with two other maids. Rivalry can lead to wrong judgments and sometimes, we even end up hurting the people we love. Many of us hate it when we have to share, but we don’t take it too far.

4 Brute Desires You Must Master If You Want to Stay in Charge! - Noah Simpe Bediako

3. Vanity

The third brute desire is a love for glory or vanity. This is called the pride of life. Sometimes, we chase things because it makes us feel good and not even because we need it.

King Solomon said that most of the things we pursue are vanity. Indeed, all is vanity. Sometimes, you desire to do certain things just for the sake of doing them.

4. Love of power

Finally, the love of power is the main source of pain for many people. Many of us want to be in control and that is the source of manipulations and struggles and wars.

Often, we fight for control, even subconsciously and consciously. We must strive our best to let people live their lives.

Sometimes, our obsession drives us to either manipulate or control people. We all love to be powerful. The weaker ones use manipulation and the stronger ones use control.

The Bible says when we walk in the spirit, we will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. All the works of the flesh enumerated in Galatians 5, stem from these desires.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. - Noah Simpe Bediako

[Galatians 5:16‭-‬18 KJV] “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.”

All the works of the flesh have their roots in these four brute desires.

[Galatians 5:19‭-‬21 KJV] “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”.

The fruit of the spirit is born as antidotes to these brute desires. Let us walk in the spirit. Read this text below.

[Galatians 5:22‭-‬26 KJV] “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.”

May the Lord guide your hearts to His love.

I love you

What are the benefits of walking by faith, snd not by sight?

The Bible teaches that after the early apostle had preached the gospel to the city and taught many; they returned to them again and confirmed the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith.

They encouraged them not to be discouraged by the tribulations that might come upon them. They exhorted that tribulations will come but they must continue in the faith because it is part of the journey.

[Acts 14:21‭-‬22 KJV] “And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”

It is much easier to both endure and enjoy a situation if you know why you’re experiencing it. When you know why you must do something, it is easier to do it.

5 Benefits of Walking by Faith - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

I want to share only five simple benefits of walking by faith and not by sight.

1. Walking by faith will help you to obtain an excellent report or testimony. It will set you above ordinary men. You will live a higher life. (See Hebrews 11:3)

2. Walking by faith will help you to gain an understanding of hidden and complex mysteries like the creation story. (See Hebrews 11:3)

3. Walking by faith will inspire and help you to make the right decisions, choices, and actions. Look at Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses; each of them and many more were able to make the right choices, take the right decisions, and do the right things. (See Hebrews 11: 4-6; 24-26)

4. Walking by faith connects and helps you to receive the strength to do the impossible. Sarah received strength to conceive and deliver at 90 years. (See Hebrews 11:11)

5. Walking by faith will help you to hold on till death, and die embracing the promise even when it is far. (See Hebrews 11: 13-16)

Walking by faith will help you to achieve more, and live an extraordinary life! - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

Walking by faith will help you to live an extraordinary life. I have no doubt that we need to walk by faith and not by sight. We will achieve more if we walk by faith and stay positive.

Stay blessed, I love you!

Every genuine believer walks by faith and not by sight. That, however, suggests that you can either walk by faith or by sight. The choice is yours. The Apostle Paul is teaching us that every child of God walks by faith. We must not walk by sight.

[2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV] “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”

We know that “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God;” and this faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

To walk by faith, therefore, is to walk in obedience to God even when you don’t know where the path leads. There cannot be the walk of faith without obedience. Any man walking by faith is obeying the word.

Remember that, hope is the seed for faith. If you don’t have hope, you cannot have faith; but any hope which does not come from God and in God is fake.

Walk by Faith and Not by Sight - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

Any man who wants to walk by faith must do the following;

1. Hear the word:

First and foremost, hear the word of the Lord and accept that there is more to life than meets the eye.

2. Be fully persuaded

Be fully persuaded of the faithfulness and ability of God. A man who can walk by faith must believe that God exists and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. (See Hebrews 6:9-11; Hebrews 11:6)

3. Be willing to follow:

Be willing to work hard in following those who by faith and patience inherited the promise. (See Hebrews 6:12)

4. Be ready to obey God:

Be ready to obey God come what may. Shadrach and his friends were ready to obey God no matter what. Moses rejected Egypt and faced the consequence. Abraham heard God come out, and he came out not knowing where he was going. Your faith must make you vulnerable, then God will be your strength and fortress.

There cannot be the walk of faith without obedience. Any man truly walking by faith is obeying God’s word! - Pastor Noah Simpe Bediako

5. Be open to all possibilities:

Be open to all possibilities. When you reject the world and walk by sight to align with God in faith, anything can happen; but all things will work together for your good.

Walking by faith is walking with God in total obedience. You will not fail nor be put to shame. With God, all things are possible.

Listen, it is better to walk with God in the darkness, than in light alone. We must walk by faith. Walking by sight is too dangerous. We are children of God, we have the nature of God; we can walk by faith.

We are the children of God, let us walk by faith and not by sight. We can, yes we can.

Stay blessed, I love you!
