Tuesday|| Build capacity for the work of ministry…

‭Hebrews 5:12-14 KJV‬ — For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. [14] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

When a child is born, it is the expectation and desire of the parent to see that child grow. No parent wants their children to remain stagnant and stunted in growth. This is the same with God; He wants every one of His children to grow and become capable of contributing to the growth of the Body of Christ.

There is a demand for every one of us to build capacity to do the work of ministry. God to demonstrate and show His commitment build the capacity of the members of the Body and to perfect the saints, He gave gifts unto men. God gave gifts unto men to help us build capacity for the work of ministry.

In Ephesians 4:10-16, we learn that the church grows through the contributions of the members. Every member has some work to do to bring an increase to the body or to the church. What I do and what you do and what he or she does will bring increase and growth.

I pray that each of us will awake to build capacity to do the work of ministry. Let him that has grace to prophesy, wait on his prophecy; he that can rule, do so diligently;

May the Lord stir up our hearts to do what we have to do for growth (See Romans 12:1-10)

You are a pillar and an agent of growth. You have a role to play. You are that man who can bring the change we are seeking. This is the time to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have to build capacity to help us occupy our place in the all important kingdom agenda. You are the champion of hope. All creation is waiting for you; they are waiting for your manifestation; arise and shine!

The simple secret to building capacity is PRACTICE! Practice!! Practice!!! Strong meat is for those who through constant practice or use have exercised their senses to discern good from evil. We build capacity through practicing the skill, over and over again. No man wins a championship by sitting and reading; even in reading competitions, you build capacity through practicing; Reading;

  1. I pray that the Lord will give us the time and the enabling environment to grow and be fruitful!
  2. I decree that the gardener shall uproot anything that fights and stunts our growth! May the angel of the Lord dig around us and supply all things that pertain to life and godliness!
  3. May you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ! May you have the capacity to build the body! May you experience God like never before!

Stay blessed
