7 Things you can do to keep the charge of preaching the gospel to all nations

Pray for all men and for people in authority

In 1 Timothy 2:1-4, we understand that the first step towards  global missions is to pray for all men and for people in authority. The church that prays for the world reaches out to her. The Christian that prays for the world reaches out to the lost.

The first step is prayer and intercessions. We must learn to lead the church to the place of prayer. Many years ago, I set out on an adventure to reach the world and it all began in the prayer closet. Those were the days when I spent time reading the book Evangelism by Fire by Reinhardt Bonnke, and my heart caught fire.

May the Lord release a burning desire for prayer for souls in our hearts tonight!

Build capacity to do the work of ministry — perfecting the saints and Christian maturity

In Ephesians 4:10-16, we learn that the church grows through the contributions of the members. Every member has some work to do to bring an increase to the body or to the church. What I do and what you do and what he or she does will bring increase and growth.

I pray that each of us awake to build capacity to do the work of ministry. Let him that has grace to prophesy, wait on his prophecy; he that can rule, do so diligently.

May the Lord stir up our hearts to do what we have to do for growth (See Romans 12:1-10)

Do the work of an evangelist

The third thing we can do is to resolve to do the work of an evangelist. 2 Timothy 4:5 teaches us to do the work of an evangelist. Men will not endure sound doctrine, hence the need to do the work of an evangelist. Luke 10:1-4 exhort us to pray that God will send labourers into the vineyard.

We must be willing to go and then pray that God will send labourers into the field. That is why I lead you out weekly to share tracts and preach the gospel. We must be ready to do more.

I pray that the father will send men into the mission field. May He prepare us with a fresh anointing to do the work of evangelists!

Occupy where you are planted with your several abilities and talents

Matthew 25:14-30, the master commanded his servants to occupy their several abilities and talents. You must be willing to excel in your chosen vocation and enterprise.

The Lord wants you to excel in business. No matter how anointed a minister is, he cannot make a certain impact unless he has money.

May the Lord bless the work of your hand and open heaven over you. May you receive grace and mercy.

Influence your circle and household with your light (good works)

In Matthew 5:13-15, the Bible teaches that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are called and ignited to shine as lights in a crooked and perverse generation.

We are called and we must shine as lights. You are the light of the world, catch the fire and be intentional about shining and influencing territories with your good works.

May the Lord anoint us with fresh fire and oil for influence. Receive fresh fire and oil to stay relevant and influential!

Continue steadfastly with those who call upon God out of a pure heart in prayer, the doctrine, and fellowship

Acts 2:42-47 reveals that the early church was able to make an impact because all those who believed were together and the continued steadfastly.

I am striving lately to be more faithful with my fellowship than with my ministry. I realized that when you have healthy communion and fellowship with Him; we have a better ministry to Him and others.

May the Lord make you more like Mary, than Martha. May we be more interested in sitting at His feet than serving in the kitchen. May you be more interested in sitting to listen, rather than serve at tables. May we become more like Mary!

Sponsor kingdom business and Christian charity

We must strive to earn a giving rather than just a living. Strive to sponsor events, programs, and give to charity. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Be willing to give. Give your tithes and offerings and financial support to the ministry.

May the Lord open heaven and pour you a blessing!

Amen! Stay blessed
