Sunday|| Pray for all men

‭1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV‬ — I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [2] for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

The first thing you can do in keeping the charge to take the gospel to the ends of the world is to start by praying for all men and people in authority.

Pray for all men and for people in authority.

In 1 Timothy 2:1-4, we understand that the first step towards  global missions is to pray for all men and for people in authority.

The church that prays for the world reaches out to her. The Christian that prays for the world reaches out to the lost. The first step is prayer and intercessions. We must learn to lead the church to the place of prayer.

Many years ago, I set out on an adventure to reach the world and it all began in the prayer closet. Those were the days when I spent time reading the book Evangelism by Fire by Reinhard Bonnke, and my heart caught fire. Our hearts must be on fire to pray and intercede for the world. We must labour in the place of prayer, if we can reach the lost anywhere. We must labour in intercessions for our party or else the message will have no impact. A tearless church remains a soulless church.

  1. May the Lord release a burning desire for prayer for souls in our hearts tonight!
  2. May you experience the heart beat of God! May He stir us to prayer and intercessions and supplication today! May our hearts respond to the cry of the spirit.
  3. Father, have mercy on this generation and on us. Forgive our insensitivity to the spirit! Heal us of our backsliding and indifference in the name of Jesus

Stay blessed
