Breaking generational curses

‭‭2 Timothy 1:5-7 KJV‬‬ — when I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. [6] Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. [7] For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

There are two things that generations may pass down to others; a blessing or a curse. Just as there are generational blessings, there are also generational curses.

A curse is anything that causes a set back and imposes limitations and bottle necks.

Both blessings and curses are passed down by the same mode: the depths and quality of interaction between the generations. Just as Lois was able to pass faith to Eunice and from Eunice to Timothy; she could equally have passed a curse. Both curses and blessings are passed from one generation to the other through interactions and fellowship.

The simple steps to break generational curses are:

Discern the curses through trends that have announced and established themselves.

If there is a trend that have repeated itself from one generation to the other; from one season to the others; one year to the other; then it is likely that there is a spirit or curse behind it. Spirit may manifest as thought patterns, understanding patterns, and even speech patterns; Spirits may manifest as choices and decisions which influence a certain outcome.

Renounce and forsake anything related to the curse or trend

Decide that you want to break that trend and renounce it. Start by speaking into the future of your generation. Speak what you expect and not what you see. Speak positively to affirm your hopes and aspirations! Speak to renounce the curse. Then go ahead and forsake choices and actions that reinforce the curses or the trends.

Attack and deal with any spirit assigned to enforce the curses

Curses usually begin as actions and choices until spirits (familiar spirits) take over to manipulate the trends

Stay blessed
