Why you must Manifest Mightily as a Son/Daughter of God

As long as the world still sees the believer in bondage, they will doubt the efficacy of the blood of Jesus to save. We are the hope of the world, we cannot fail them.Originally published at highcity.org

I have been exhorting you lately on the need to manifest as sons and daughters of God. I believe that this truth is implanting itself in your hearts and soon our generation shall eat the fruits thereof. The time has come for the showing forth of the church to the world.

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” (Romans 8:19‭-‬21 KJV)

You must arise and manifest. You must be revealed in your glorious liberty. You must be seen and seen as gloriously liberated. There is so much pain in the world because the children of God, the church, are not being revealed.

The text we read teaches that the earnest expectation of all creatures is for the manifestation or the showing forth of the church. This is because, all creature was made subject to vanity by force, in the hope that they shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

The world has no hope except the hope of being delivered when we manifest into our glorious liberty. We cannot fail the world, we are her last hope. But the world is still in bondage because many of God’s children are not manifesting as gloriously liberated. The world still sees us in bondage and captivity and they doubt the efficacy of the blood as we teach it.

The word of God must change us, change our lives, change our world, change society, change the church. Many of us are not manifesting the glorious liberty because of;

The quality of our mindset:

Mindset is one of the most important assets or liability of every man. The Bible tells us that “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” You are your thoughts; your thoughts make you, you don’t make your thoughts (Proverbs 23: 7). Indeed, “the thoughts of the diligent tends only to plenteousness...” (Proverbs 21:5) You will increase or diminish by your thoughts. How you think will affect whether you will increase or decrease.

The quality of your seed:

Many of us are struggling because of the quality of seeds we are sowing (See Psalm 126: 6)

Unsharpened tools and crude skills:

In the name of faith, many of us are trying to fill our barrels with water, but we are using baskets. Wisdom is profitable to direct (Ecclesiastes 10:10). Remember, Proverbs 17:24 teaches that “wisdom is before the man of understanding but a fool looks to the ends of the world.”

Unbroken soil:

It is time to break up our fallow grounds. Don’t sow among thorns (See Jeremiah 4:3, Hosea 10:12, Mark 4)

Stay blessed, I love you
