Finding Faith in Adversity

[Proverbs 18:14 KJV] “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?”

Apart from God, there is only one person who will never leave you nor forsake you; that is you – your spirit. The Bible says the spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; indeed, there is no disability that disables a man more than a wounded spirit.

Faith is for all days and all weather. You must be able to build faith even in and from a storm. Your faith must not just stand the test of time but you must withstand in all situations.

To build faith that can sustain your emotions;

1. Becareful where you put your faith:

All other grounds are not safe. They are unreal. Your faith must be in God and in His word. Hope defered makes the heart sick; becareful where you put your hope. Most of the grounds is sinking sand; all other grounds aside Christ is sinking sand.

[Proverbs 13:12 KJV] “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life”.

2. Build up yourself on your most holy faith:

Problems come everyday but you can build yourself on your most holy faith. Build up yourself on your most holy faith. Build on nothing but your most sacred philosophies.

[Jude 1:20‭-‬21 KJV] “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life”.

[Proverbs 24:10 KJV] “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small”.

3. Connect with people whose countenance sharpens yours:

Some people speak and just speak. Their words suck energy from your sail, you deserve better than that. This is the time to connect with people who inspire faith.

[Proverbs 27:17‭-‬19 KJV] “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured. As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man”.

You will not fail! You will win! Your faith will stand the test of time! You will face the storm and come out victorious.

Stay blessed; I love you!
