We are Bought to Fight the Good Fight of Faith

Honestly, every man on the face of the earth is fighting a battle, whether you believe it or not. You may not see their struggle but every man on the face of the earth is fighting something. The Bible, therefore, exhorts us to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt us in due time. Indeed, there is nowhere to run to. Whatever you are facing in the church, your friends in the world are facing it in differing dimensions.

[1 Timothy 6:12 KJV] “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses”.

Discussion:

Everyone is fighting something, so just chill out and bear your burdens with a humble heart and a rational head.

[1 Peter 5:6‭-‬9 KJV] “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world”.

Every man is battling something. You may be battling poverty, but others are battling sicknesses, others are also battling family cracks. You may be facing singleness, but others are dealing with divorce and some are also battling abusive relationships. Everyone is fighting one thing or the other but the good news is we have weapons that are mighty through God to fight this battle.

Although you are going through so much, facing your own challenges against evil and satanic forces; although the battle is raging, you need to remember that we have weapons that are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds and casting down imaginations and thoughts that exalt itself against the knowledge of God.

Don’t wait to face it or to be told, you must understand from Scripture that we are all wrestling and fighting something; it is called a fight of faith. This is the battle that arises against you simply because you want to obey God. It is the spiritual battle we all fight to remain faithful and fruitful.

There are good fights of faith and bad fights of faith. You are called to fight the good fight of faith. We are constantly fighting principalities, powers, rulers, and spiritual wickedness. We are constantly battling these forces, but the good news, however, is that we have weapons that are mighty and effective through God.

I want you to understand that you are not vulnerable. You are well equipped to face all the challenges and battle the enemy, you must wear the victor’s crown. You are more than a conqueror; you must be in charge and not be conquered. You must have dominion, that is the will of God for you. You are not a victim, you are the champion. Without doubt, we have weapons that are mighty through God to demolish every arsenal of the enemy.

You will win the battle if you know what your weapons are:

Many are not winning because they don’t know the weapons. The weapons of our weapon are our salvation, righteousness, faith, truth, the word of God, prayer, watching, perseverance, supplication, and long-suffering. So, your salvation, righteousness, faith, truth, word of God, witnessing, and all kinds of prayer and watching with long-suffering and perseverance are all mighty weapons. These are the mighty weapons we have, with which to win this battle. You may be facing your own battles in marriage, ministry, money, family, health, etc but you also have effective and mighty weapons to use.

Do all you can in your power to guard your weapons:

You have all the weapons you need to effectively fight. So do all in your power to protect these weapons. If you lose your weapons, you will lose the battle. The war of life against deception and satanism is real. The only way to win is to remember that we have weapons of war that are mighty through God to pull down strongholds and cast down imaginations and thoughts. The second step is to guard these weapons of war. Don’t allow anyone to take them away from you.

Deploy the weapons to help you:

You must deploy these weapons of war to help you win in life. The Bible exhorts us to put on the whole armour of God. You must put on the whole armour; not some, the whole.

Step into the battle, Don’t withhold your sward from blood:

Step into the battle. Run to the battle, don’t be at ease in Zion. Withhold not your sword from blood. Arise and pray with all kinds of prayer and supplication and watching for all the saints. This is the time and you must be ready to fight.

War according to the prophecies that have gone ahead of you:

You will win if you war according to prophecy. We must fight by light and prophecy. That is how you win. “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;” (1 Timothy 1:18 KJV)

Fight with a decision to finish your course and to keep your faith 

I pray that you will decide to overcome to the end. You must understand that only those who fight to the end and overcome will wear the victor’s crown. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” (2 Timothy 4:7 KJV)

The battle is raging, but we have weapons. We have mighty and effective weapons. These weapons are mighty through God. You can and must win. I know you are facing something but you must emerge the winner. You will not bow your head in shame with shoulders drooping. You will lift your hands in worship and not in surrender to the enemy. You are more than a conqueror.

Effective Weapons Against Every Satanic Attack

We live in a dark and wicked world full of hate and many satanic operations, I therefore want to exhort you by this message on effective weapons against every satanic attack.

Discussion

The times are dangerous and there is a lot of satanic activities all around us. The devil is fiercely prowling and moving about roaring as a lion, seeking whom he may devour (See 1 Peter 5:8). He is in town and he means business. He will steal, kill, and destroy anything that stands to oppose him. He has no favourites and he is not joking at all.

To overcome him in these last days, you must put on the whole armour of God, operate in the name of Jesus Christ, strive for the knowledge of God, plead the blood of Jesus, speak your testimony boldly, and deny yourself. This explains the most effective weapons against Satan in these last days.

1. The whole armour of God:

The Bible admonitions us in Ephesians 6:10-18 that we should put on the whole armour of God so that we shall be able to stand against the wiles of the enemy and in an evil day. The armour of the Lord (the whole armour of the Lord) is an effective weapon. That is what helps you to stand and to withstand in the evil day. Without the armour of light, you will fall flat before the enemy.

The armour of God makes you stable and strong. The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel, the belt of truth, shield of faith, and the sword of the spirit (which is the word of God). These are the only ways to be sure of standing.

2. The name of Jesus Christ:

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and they are safe” (Proverbs 18:10). Above all, at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of anything that is named in heaven and on earth and beneath the earth (See Philippians 2:10). The name of Jesus brings the enemy to his knees and we can then be on the offensive.

3. The knowledge of God:

The Bible exhorts us in Ephesians 6:10 to “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might”. The simple secret to be wax strong and do exploits is to know God. Daniel 11:32 teaches that “those who do know their God shall wax strong and do exploits”. No wonder apostle Paul was preoccupied with merely trying to know the Lord and the power of His resurrection. We are strengthened through the knowledge of him that called us (Philippians 3:10). Knowing God is a master key to winning the invisible war against darkness.

Revelation 12:7-12 teaches us about the following three other weapons effective against Satan;

4. The blood of the Lamb:

Now in the real combat, three weapons work, and one of these three is the blood of the lamb. The blood of the lamb is our evidence of victory over death. The blood of the lamb, reminds both us and the enemy that our sins have been atoned for. The blood of the lamb protects us against his accusations and aspersions. The blood is an effective weapon, use it.

5. The word of your testimony:

Your words are forerunners into your future. Your words shape your tomorrow and are effective weapons against Satan and devils. Your testimony is an effective tool, don’t trade it.

6. Self denial:

Self denial is the final weapon I want to talk about now. When the enemy realizes that you are ready to even die if possible, he grows weaker. They won over darkness because they were not afraid to lose their lives. They lived and fought knowing their lives are hidden in Christ and they have a better life after this one. The devil will always capitalize on your fear and doubt to control you. May you wake up and not slumber.

Benediction

I speak victory over your life. You must win this invisible war against darkness. May you be able to use these weapons effectively against every evil. Receive the protection and provision of God, Amen!

Breaking Every Satanic Plot

Day 3 of 21 Days of Breaking Limits

[Luke 10:17-20 KJV] “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. [18] And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. [19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. [20] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven”.

We are delivered from the kingdom of darkness and translated into the kingdom of the Dear Son of God.

[Colossians 1:13 KJV] “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:”

Jesus said He has given us power to thread upon serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt any of us. We are believing God to exercise this power to the benefit of the generations of men. From today, demons shall be subject to us and we shall walk in authority and power over them.

Prophetic prayer plan

#1. We want to begin with worship and singing to the Lord. He is a man of war and works wonders in praises. Spend quality time with the Lord in worship.

#2. I cast out every contrary spirit that has gained access to my life, spirit, destiny, family and career in the name of Jesus!

[Mark 16:15 KJV] “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”.

[Luke 11:24 KJV] “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out”.

I cast out the spirits of fear, lust, anxiety, and infirmities.

#3. I cast down, pull down, and subdue every imagination, thought, high thing or knowledge, that exalts itself above the knowledge of God.

[2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV] “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: [4] (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) [5] Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; [6] And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled”.

#4. We wrestle and withstand all principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places who are trying to control and manipulate my life, family, and ministry. (See Ephesians 6:10-18)

#5. I raze down contrary altars erected and ministered upon against my personal and family, financial progress, and health by fire and thunder!

I dispatch angelic reinforcement against any person, priest or priestess who ministers at such an altar against my life and finance; May the angels of the Lord overpower and disarm them!

I judge and condemn any contrary altar set up to fight my faith, health, wealth, and ministry in the name of Jesus!

#5. Dear Lord, deliver me from strange personalities. Deliver me from a strange woman or man that flatters with his or her lips and words (Portiphar’s wife)

#6. Father deliver us from wicked and unreasonable men; Let the gospel have its free with others as it was with me

[2 Thessalonians 3:2 KJV] “And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith”.

#7. Dear Lord, deliver us from the sleight cunningness of men who lie in wait to deceive

[Ephesians 4:11-16 KJV] “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; [12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: [13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of th.e knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: [14] That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; [15] But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: [16] From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love”.

Deliver us from ravenous wolves that creep in into the church

[Acts 20:29 KJV] “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock”.

Deliver us from brethren who say perverse things to draw following and disciples after themselves.

[Acts 20:30 KJV] “Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them”.

Deliver me from friends and acquaintances who try to turn me from the truth and from the faith.

[Acts 13:7 KJV] “Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God”.

Deliver me from those who cause division and offenses contrary to the doctrine.

[Romans 16:17 KJV] “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them”.

Deliver me from followers and acquaintances who love the world; and  often forsake me in tough times.

#8. Deliver me from those who hate me for no reason; Let me not trust any man who is jealous and envious of my favour (like Cain).

#9. Deliver me from any messenger of Satan sent to buffet me. I speak grace and deliverance from satanic messengers. I declare a new day over my life.

May you experience the deliverance of the Almighty God as you walk in power and authority. We have the power; power to thread upon serpents and scorpions. We have authority from Christ to subdue and cast out devils.

I speak over your life today; as you walk on with, God every satanic power in your life is losing its hold in the name of Jesus Christ. You will walk in power and authority! You will not miss your season! You will walk in dominion!

Winning the Battle by Our Weapons of War

The Bible teaches that we are not fighting in this spiritual battle empty handed; we indeed have weapons which are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God; and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We really have weapons that are not carnal but mighty through God.

What then are these weapons? Revelation 12:7-12 teaches us of three effective weapons;

1. The blood of Jesus Christ.
2. The word of our testimony.
3. Not loving our lives even unto death.

The devil has however designed three effective weapons to neutralise the efficacy of these weapons. They are sin, accusation, and intimidation.

We can overcome darkness when we employ these weapons against darkness. We must walk in righteousness, have a lifestyle of testifying, and be open to all possibilities. The devil uses weapons of sin, accusations, and fear to neutralise our effectiveness.

You will not fail; we will win when we walk in this reality. We have weapons; real spiritual weapons. These weapons are effective; when properly engaged.
