Let’s Stay Connected

Grace has found us and as we stay under the same grace, we prosperOriginally published at highcity.org

Today, I want to exhort you on the need to stay connected to the true vine. Jesus Christ is the true vine and His Father is the husbandman. We are the branches.

“And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;  Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.” (Romans 11:17‭-‬18 KJV)

Indeed at the new birth, when we are born again into God’s family; we are actually engrafted into the vine. In John 15, we are engrafted into a true vine and in Romans 11:17, we are engrafted into an olive tree.

We are engrafted to enjoy the roots and fatness of the olive. Our connection reinforces and gives us stability. Our connection gives us fatness or sap. Our very existence depends on our connection to the true vine and good olive.

We are called into fellowship and connection. Those that are planted in the house of the Lord flourish in the courts of the Almighty because they are planted in the Garden of the Lord, the watered garden of the Lord! You are planted in the house of the Lord and are connected to the people of God. We are not alone; we belong to the family of God and fellowship with a company of angels.

Stay connected; don’t joke with your connection with this grace. As you stay connected; you are connected to great grace. Any branch that disconnects shall wither and die. Grace has found us and as we stay under the same grace, we prosper.

Let’s stay connected and be blessed. Let’s connect in church, on social media, and chat apps. We all win when we strengthen the connection.

Today’s Prayer

Father, in the name Jesus Christ, help me to remain planted and connected to this grace. I speak against any power that is projected to disconnect me from this grace to rise and raise others. I pray that I shall remain planted and flourish in Your courts. Amen!

3 Secrets that will Help You to Go Far with God

We must abide in Him; abide in His body and allow His word to abide in us. These are the master keys to finishing in faith. Originally published at highcity.org

Today, I want to share with you the 3 simple secrets to advancing in God by faith.

(Acts 2:40‭-‬42 KJV) “And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

The three simple secrets to advancing in God by faith are;

  1. Believe: Gladly receive the word
  2. Connect: Be added to the fold
  3. Continue: Continue steadfastly with us

This is how those in the early church advanced and went far with the Lord. Many of the things that we push for have very little to do with enduring faith. Many fall from the faith and are unable to overcome to the end because they are not connected and continuing.

The Bible tells us that they gladly received the word. Notice that they didn’t receive it grudgingly but gladly. They gladly received the word, were baptised and added to the church. We must abide in Him; abide in His body and allow His word to abide in us. These are the master keys to finishing in faith.

I pray that you will finish in faith and finish strong. May the good Lord help you to finish. You will not fail! You will finish your course and finish faithfully.

Stay blessed, I love you!

Today’s Prayer

Father, it is my earnest desire to continue and go all the way with You in my walk on earth. I don’t intend to grow weary and fall off. I pray for help from above to believe, connect, and continue in the name of Jesus Christ! Help me, God.

Amen!
