Praise the Lord! We want to share on the things that happen when we commit to hearing

In the book of revelation, the phrase; “Let him that has ears to hear, hear what the spirit says to the churches” occurs over seven times in just two chapters. The Lord emphasises the need to hear and listen by faith.

In the walk of faith,  everything begins with hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling, or feeling. What we hear, believe, say and act on impacts our lives significantly.

We want to commit ourselves to listening and reading and watching. This is God’s way of igniting and preparing us for new things.

It is my desire that this week, everyone of us will listen to Simpe Bediako Podcast, or message from our YouTube channels or read books as published on simpebediako.com/shop or meditate on the seeds as published on highcity.org/devotionals.

Why?

Four things will happen when we commit to reading and listening and watching the faith filled message from our pastor.

Please note! The emphasis is our pastor. God feeds His church in folds and flocks. We have a gift given to us, and he is called to perfect the saints, do the work of minstering the word and praying, and edifying the body of Christ!

In every dispensation and time, there are many voices and teachings that do not conform to truth. Please every pastor is give and appointed to feed the people with truth. The Holy Ghost have made me an overseer over you (See Acts 20, reading from verse 22). I am appointed to feed and watch over your souls as one who will give an account of your life.

The following are four things that happens when we listen and reading our pastors messages and writings;

We become awakened and directed:

We get ready for battle and for work. The messages bring light and make us wiser. Sometimes evil workers, dogs, and pretenders creep in awares. It is the listening that enlightens and awakens us to avoid them.

[1 Corinthians 14:8 KJV] “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?”

[Matthew 16:6‭, ‬11‭-‬12 KJV] “Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. [11] How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? [12] Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees”.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17);

There are other forms of hearing but only one type of hearing produces faith; hearing by the word. We must read the Bible, quote the Bible, hear from the word. Not by visions, and dreams, and prophetic revelations, but by the Word of God.

God works miracles in and among us when we hear by the hearing of faith (Galatians 3:5);

Miracles take place as we soak in the word. You must soak in the word and read the books to tap into miracles.

God ministers the Spirit and anointing as we hear by the hearing of faith (Galatians 3:5):

In Ezekiel 2:1-2, the prophet reveals that as the Lord spoke with him, his spirit entered into him. The hearing of faith ministers the Spirit and anointing.

I pray that as a church, we will take hearing and listening and reading from our pastor seriously, for maximum impact.

Be blessed; I love you!
