Build up Yourself on Your Most Holy Faith

[Jude 1:17-21 KJV] “But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; [18] How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. [19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. [20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, [21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life“.

We have learnt that if we want to make impact on the mountain, then we must have a desire, pray, believe, work, and forgive. There are many people that step out to work and don’t succeed because they do not exercise themselves.

To build up yourself on your most holy faith, you must;

1. Train your mind by reading:

[1 Timothy 4:7 KJV] “But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness”.

2. Train your body by physical exercises:

[1 Timothy 4:8 KJV]
“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come“.

3. Train your conscience through integrity, and truth, and selflessness, and empathy:

[Acts 24:16 KJV] “And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men“.

4. Train your spirit by praying in tongues:

[1 Corinthians 14:1-4 KJV] “Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts , but rather that ye may prophesy. [2] For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him ; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. [3] But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. [4] He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church“.

Stay blessed!

I love you;

Why We Maintain Fellowship

We build up ourselves on our most holy faith through fellowship. When we maintain a healthy fellowship with the Holy Ghost and the brethren, we grow stronger.Originally published at highcity.org

We maintain a healthy fellowship with the Holy Spirit and with the brethren in order to grow a healthy and strong spirit. The more we fellowship with the Holy Spirit and with the brethren, the more we grow stronger.

[Galatians 5:16-18 KJV] “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. [17] For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. [18] But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law”.

We have already studied that man is tripartite, just like God. We were created in the image and likeness of God to have dominion and be fruitful. We know that man is a living soul, has a spirit, and lives in a body according to Genesis 2:7.

We however understand from Galatians 7:17 that the spirit and the flesh are in a constant battle with each other. They are all trying to gain control and rule over the soul. We have therefore admonished ourselves to grow stronger in the spirit man, so that we could control the wild flesh in order to live the life of faith.

The more we build up our faith through reading, hearing, and doctrine, prayer, worship and singing, desiring and relaxing in the presence of the Lord alone and with the brethren, the more we build and grow a stronger spirit.

We maintain a healthy fellowship with the Holy Spirit and the brethren in order to maintain a healthy and stronger spirit man. When we grow a healthy spirit man, we are able to possess our bodies in honour and please God. We build up ourselves on our most holy faith through fellowship. When we maintain a healthy fellowship with the Holy Ghost and the brethren, we grow stronger.

That is why the Bible exhorts us not to forsake the assembling together of ourselves. There is so much power in fellowshipping; so many great benefits.

[Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV] “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”.

It is our apostle’s desire that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us. The communion of the Holy Spirit is so important. I pray that the Communion of the Holy Ghost shall be with you all.

[2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV] “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen”.

Your fellowship will sustain and help your growth. Be blessed.

I love you!
