Lead Us not into Temptation but Deliver Us from Evil

I have taught you that without Christ we can do nothing. We must therefore depend on Christ in whatever we do. We must depend on Him for strength and life.

[Matthew 6:13 KJV] “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Today, we acknowledge that the kingdom, the power, and the glory belongs to the Lord. In fact, except the Lord graciously saves us, we cannot be saved. Our prayer today is that the Lord shall lead us not into temptation but that He shall deliver us from evil.

There are two main ills in life; temptations and evil. Temptation is to be drawn by your own lust but evil is to fall into the wicked schemes of others. Temptation is when you are drawn by your own cravings, lusts, and desires; evil is when someone plots an evil scheme with the intention to hurt you. Our prayer is for the Lord to lead us not into temptation but rather deliver us from the wicked schemes of others. If any is planning wickedness against you, may the Lord deliver you in the name of Jesus Christ!

I have also taught you that there are five dimensions of evil projected against each one of us. These are the five dimensions of wickedness project to steal, kill or destroy us and what we are building. The gates of hell are against the advancement and prosperity of the church and the body of Christ on earth. The devil does not want you to go forward in life, and he will use these five-dimensional combat strategy to maim and resist you. I have taught you that whether you are aware of this or not, whether you believe or not, whether you pay attention to this or not, there is a five-dimensional attack launched against you;

• The battle against your mind
• Creeping things
• Wrestlers and devourers
• Unclean spirit that seeks to possess you
• Wickedness that operate through others

It is important to understand that there are devils and schemes of wickedness that operate from above which attacks your mind, there are other things that creep in subtly, some come more affront and aggressively as roaring lions and wrestling spirits. There are, however, unclean spirits that fight you by first seeking to possess you, and there are those spirits that can only attack you by possessing people close to you.

There are five simple combat intelligence required to completely keep these wicked spirits at bay;

1. Complete obedience
2. Being strong in the Lord…
3. Yielding your members as instruments of righteousness
4. Exercising your authority as a believer
5. Discernment and discretion

These are the five most effective intelligence strategies against evil. These are the main keys that will help you to win and overcome the extreme wickedness and evil in the world.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 reveals that there are imaginations and thoughts and high things and knowledge that seeks to exalt itself against the knowledge of God to fight you. These are spirits that seek to attack your mind and peace; by simply painting pictures that tend to steal and kill and destroy your peace. The Bible teaches that we can punish these type of evil spirits when our obedience is complete. Total yieldedness to the word of God is the master key to casting down and pulling down these weapons. Our ability to depend solely on God is paramount. Our weapons against these kinds of attack are only mighty through God.

Ephesians 6:10-18 and 1 Peter 5:8-9 teach that we must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might because there are principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness, and adversaries we must resist steadfastly in the faith. This will require strength, fortitude, armour, determination, and perseverance to overcome. We must be ready to resist them steadfastly!

Luke 10:17 teaches that there are creeping things that bite and sting and kill if not threaded upon. The only wisdom to deal with such things is to exercise your authority as a child of God. You have the power to say no or say. You have the power to stop or to start it. These are called creeping things. Interestingly, if you allow them to thrive, heaven will watch on. But if you stand your grounds and say no, heaven will also say no to them. The power is with you. If you accept the proposal of a fool, heaven cannot stop the marriage. You have the authority to say yes or no!

Luke 11:23-24 reveal that when unclean spirits that were previously cast out of you find you; washed, clean, garnished, and idle, they look for seven other more wicked spirits and they come in and possess you. The only wisdom to escape is to yield your members as instruments of righteousness; get involved in the work and ministry. You must find something to do in the house of God. That is the only way to defeat such demons. Instead of using your data to watch movies, spend time watching preaching messages and reading Christian literature.

Finally, you must discern the deep motives of people close to you. That is the only way to escape the wickedness that devils perpetuate through others. Abel would have escaped death if he had discerned Cain’s intentions. Tamar would have escape rape if she had discerned the intention of Ammon. Ammon would have escaped death if he had discerned Absalom’s anger. Samson would have escaped from the Lords of the Philistines if he had discerned the greed in Delilah’s heart. Discernment, Discernment, Discernment!!

I pray that the Lord will not lead any of us into temptation but would rather deliver us from evil. You will escape and you will be safe!

Don’t Render Evil for Evil

[1 Thessalonians 5:15 KJV] “See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men”.

As we journey through life by faith and walk among the caravan of believers, offenses are bound to come, but it is important to see ensure that we do not render evil for evil. The truth is, we all offend in many things and we also get offended, but we will do well as a team of believers if we are able to forgive and not render evil for evil.

Vengeance is the Lord’s and we should leave Him to do what He wants to do. We should just let go and let God. We should forgive those who wrong us, just as Christ Jesus forgave us. The will of God is for us to forgive and to follow that which is good. We cannot say that offences will not come, but we can make a choice not to take offence and allow the Lord to take vengeance.

I pray for you that the Lord will give you grace to walk in the newness of the spirit, and be free of offences and bitterness. May you walk with a loving and forgiving heart! May your life count for blessing and goodwill! I pray that the healing balm of Gilead will heal you of all bitterness and unforgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ!

It’s Time to Fray the Horns Sent to Scatter Us!

[Zechariah 1:18‭-‬21 KJV] “Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the Lord shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it”.

We have learnt that life is a battle and only those with a military perspective will make any good out of it. There are spiritual horns and demonic powers that seek to scatter your gains, but God shall raise carpenters to fray them.

To fray is to engage in a disorder but intense long fight. This is the time to arise and resist the kingdom of darkness. May the Lord build you up. May He raise carpenters to help you! No evil power should be able to stop you! You will arise with might and strength.

There are horns that are trying to scatter us. There are beasts that try to fight those who lift their heads; but you cannot be stopped! We cannot be scattered! God will help us!

The three simple things you can do to release the carpenter forces to fray every evil horn are;

1. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (See Ephesians 6:10):

You should arise and gird your loins with strength. Quicken yourself in the Lord and in the power of His might. You cannot stand aloof. You must be activated and empowered to withstand darkness.

2. Put on the whole armour of God (See Ephesians 6:11):

You must dress for battle and psyche your mind for war. You must put on the armour of light. Don’t compromise! The armour will protect and strengthen you. You will win! You cannot fail!

3. Stand therefore fully armed (See Ephesians 6:12-18):

You cannot be sitting or sleeping. You must stand; Stand and stand strongly. The devil and his host are not playing games; we cannot play games either. I pray that you will stand and withstand, and no devil shall be able to stop you.

This is the time to arise and fray the devil. This is the time to stand and fight off every devil. The devil is a liar; nothing can stop you. God will be your helper. You must and will arise without fear, and you shall win and win again.

To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. There are two main dangers every man faces in everyday life;

1. Evil men
2. Strange women

As we walk about and go about our everyday duties and vocations, we would always encounter these two hurtful dangers. These are dangers that all who desire life should keep away from.

Beware of Evil men!

These are:

• Men that speaketh froward things;
• Men who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness;
• Men who rejoice to do evil and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
• Men whose ways are crooked, and are froward in their paths:

They lure and seduce with the booty of their schemes. They will try to get you to accompany them to pursue their wickedness. These shall be cut off soon; avoid them.

Beware of Strange women!

The second category are strange women. These women are;

• Strangers who flatter with their words; they are smooth talkers. The Bible says their words are like hot oil on the back of a labouring man.

• Those which forsake the guide of their youth, these women break covenant. These are women who are divorced from the husband of their youth.

• Those who forgets the covenant of their God. These are backslidden women. They have been in church and speak the language of the religious, yet they have lost their conviction.

You must keep away from these women because their houses inclines unto death, and their paths unto the dead. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. A strange woman is a deep pit, once she takes a hold of you, you are finished.

The Keys to Escape.

The simple secrets to be delivered from these two-fold dangers are:

1. Let wisdom enter into thine heart,
2. Let knowledge be pleasant unto thy soul;

This is the only way that discretion shall preserve you, understanding shall keep thee from evil men and strange women.

May the Lord keep and preserve you from evil men and strange women!

You can Break the Power of the Enemy as One Man!

“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord : and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.

And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.

And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them; And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass. For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.

And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord . And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord because of the Midianites, That the Lord sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage; And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land; And I said unto you, I am the Lord your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice. Many families are impoverished by the operations of the enemies. Israel became impoverished because of the Midianites but the enemy is able to afflict us when he finds a conducive atmosphere to operate in.

If you want to break the power of the enemy, you must;

Break the power of evil habits:

Forsake doing evil in the sight of God. Israel opened the door to the enemy because they did evil in the sight of God. When you master your wrong habits; you win over all enemies.

Run to the name of the Lord:

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and they are safe” (Proverbs 18:10). Don’t build caves and strongholds, run to the name of the Lord. He is mighty to save and save to the uttermost. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. Let us throw ourselves on the grace and mercies of God.

Be confident in God’s ability to defend His own against all aggression:

Don’t fear the gods and powers of the enemy. You encourage satanic operations and evil to fester when you fear the gods and powers of the enemy. The spirit of fear is a debilitating influence and condition. Fear paralyses, fear cripples! We must refuse to give heed to stories and teachings that exalt satanic powers and beat down the believer’s authority (Ephesians 1:19-21)

Pray:

Cry out to God; don’t be indifferent towards your condition. Many of us are indifferent to the effects of the work of the enemy and devils in our lives. We allow things to continue; and our lives are ‘business as usual’. Arise in positive defiance. Rebel against every satanic hold and fight off every satanic attack.

Honour divine messengers:

Honour prophets and angels sent to minister to us: it’s only a matter of time; and the reality begins to dawns. We must recieve prophets and angels sent to us. When Israel cried, God sent them a prophet and an angel to Gideon.

Go in your little might and pull down the altars of counterfeit gods in your life:

You don’t need great power to lead and act positively. We need speaking, praying and positive action to break the power of the enemy. God is with you, but you are not seeing His mighty work because you are not acting. You may look weak and poor and small in your own eyes, but if God is with you, you can pull down the grooves and altars of Baal. Don’t allow idolatry to continue around you. Pull down evil altars and grooves, and erect good altars.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Father,

I run to Your name; I take refuge in Your mercies from the evil that hurts. I pray that You shall empower me to witness the defeat of the enemy. Deliver me from Midian, Amalek and the children of the East.

May I see Your hand prevail against the power of the enemy.

Raised to Raze Babylon

“Thus saith the Lord ; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind; And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about. Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host. Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets. For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the Lord of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.” (Jeremiah 51:1‭-‬5 KJV)

God is raising us as a destroying wind against every destroying mountain that sought to completely wipe out our family’s glory and honour, health and wealth.

God is raising a generation of men and women to stand up against things that destroy generations of men and nation and kingdom. There is an evil that is seeking to destroy this generation and nation. You are the captain God is raising to stand up against the destroying mountains that are against this generation.

We must come and allow God to build us into a spiritual house; a royal priesthood offering spiritual sacrifice. (See 1 Peter 2:1-10)

This is the time to get ready to raze Babylon. This is the time and season to rise and fight the fighter; destroy the destroyer.

“The Lord hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God. Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the Lord hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the Lord , the vengeance of his temple. Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the Lord hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.” (Jeremiah 51:10‭-‬12 KJV)

God is raising us to break in pieces nations and kingdoms; man and women; horses and the riders; chariots and the riders; young men and maid; shepherd and his flock; young and old. You have no excuse, you can raze everything that arose to utter destroy you.

“Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish. The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the Lord of hosts is his name. And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.” (Jeremiah 51:17‭-‬19‭, ‬21‭-‬23 KJV)

We are raised to raze down Babylon. You will break into piece the enemy. Be up and doing and you will liberate a whole generation of men and women.

The Harsh but True Reality of Life.

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1‭-‬3 KJV)

The harsh but true reality of life is the fact that no matter who you are, there are people who are trying to curse you and there are others trying to bless you. Whether black or white, rich or poor, young or old; there is someone somewhere trying to either curse or bless you. You can say whatever you want to say or make arguments but this will still remain a reality of life you must know.

When God called Abraham to follow Him to possess the promise and be a blessing to his generation, He warned him that there are some who would try to curse him and others who would bless him. The reality of curses and blessings cannot be underplayed. The good news however remains that curses can be averted and blessings attracted.

Note that a curse is a prayer or wish intending to harm a person, a place or a thing usually by magic or malevolent power. A blessing however is a prayer or wish that it goes well with someone, place or things by a supernatural power.

The simple secrets to avert curses are:

Walk by faith: We have an assurance from God that as we walk by faith, He will defend us. He will curse those who curse us and bless those who bless us. Putting our faith in God exempts us from the effects of curses. The Lord becomes our defence because we trust Him. He told Abraham “if you trust me and follow me, I will recompense to everyman as he gives…“. We have a great defender. His name is Jehovah!

Remove the cause: Proverbs 26:2 says “a curse causeless as a wandering bird shall not settle”. The people who are trying to curse you are trying to find a just cause to undo what you are doing; don’t give them a reason. Remove the cause that attract curses and walk in full protection. Israel became cursed when Achan brought into the camp cursed objects. Until Joshua removed the cause the curse was actively working against them.

Finally, refrain your tongue from speaking guile: The tongue is a deadly beast. The tongue is unruly, use it wisely. Bridle your tongue and speak life only. With these three simple secrets, you can avert curses.

You Must be Delivered from the Powers of Darkness!

“And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.” (Luke 13:10‭-‬17 KJV)

Yes! You must be delivered from the powers of darkness. In this year of ‘Grace to Double’, Fruitfulness and Productivity, everyone of us must be delivered from the power of darkness. You must be liberated and healed enough to be able to fully manifest the mandate of God on your life.

Many lives and destinies have been halted because of the operations of devils and Satan. The story we read tells us that the woman was bent because Satan had bound her all these years. The life of the woman had halted because Satan had bound her, but a single encounter with the truth and power of God loosed and healed her.

Her life saw a turnaround which roused the wrath of her adversaries and the joy of her friends. As we keep coming to the presence of God to fellowship; a single encounter with the power of God will transform us. Your encounter with the power of God today will change your story. This encounter with the word and the power of the Holy Spirit on this platform today will break the evil hold of darkness on your life.

You must be liberated from the powers of darkness. That is how you will be fruitful and productive. Any power holding you bound must lose its hold! The woman was bent because she was bound. Some of you are ‘halt’ and do not see much progress because you are bound by the powers of darkness. Your business must be liberated from the powers of darkness. That family cannot be bound anymore. Liberation and freedom is coming to us now!

The woman had a liberating and a healing encounter with the power of God. She did nothing to merit that; grace found her. She caught the eye of grace! May you catch the eye of grace! May the loving kindness of God touch and release you from the snares of darkness! Be loosed! Be healed! Be liberated! You are more than conquerors!

Exposing Hidden Causes

“And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.  And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer–sheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.  And Joab answered, The Lord make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my Lord the king, are they not all my Lord’s servants? why then doth my Lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?  Nevertheless the king’s word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.” (1 Chronicles 21:1-4 KJV)

As we wait today, we shall be believing God to unveil and expose every enemy behind the contrary decisions we make.

Most of the times as children of God we make decisions from the point of logic, fear, and insecurity. The text we read was about how the king David wanted Joab to number Israel even though God had told them never to count His people. The king’s word prevailed and there was nothing Joab could say, but the real cause and motivation was the devil. This truth was hidden from the king and from the man Joab.

I am sure the king David was moved by fear and insecurities. The devil was the real cause behind the decision. The King was anointed and the man after God’s heart; yet the devil moved him.

Consider how the devil entered into Judas. He got bitter over an offering that was not his. He was filled with so much rage until he sold his Lord for thirty pieces of silver. The real motivation was from the devil. He felt angry and bitter but the realm cause was the devil that had entered into him.

As a leader, I have been provoked several times to act contrary to the word of Go, but by grace I didn’t in most of the cases. Very often after I see the real cause behind my anger I thank God that I did not act on impulse.

It is my prayer that as you wait on God, he will enlighten your understanding. You will not fall for the con and wiles of darkness. The Lord shall expose the evil force behind the rash decisions you are tempted to make.

May the Lord help us to obey His word. May He help us to be willing to act by His word. May we not be self seeking and self preserving. May the hand of God lead us in paths of righteousness.

You will not miss the way. You will make the Lord your shepherd. May you follow His leading. May you yield to His nudging.

Psalm 23 says that if the Lord is your shepherd, He will make you to lie down in green pastures and lead you besides stilled waters.

He shall lead you in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. Though you may walk through the valley of shadows of death, He shall be with you.

You will not fail nor be deceived. The Lord shall guide you. He shall lead you and you will not make a mistake.

May the Lord forgive and purge us of any evil. May Jehovah help us to make the right decisions in the coming days.

I curse any witchcraft power that is trying to keep you from walking in the truth. I curse any sorcery behind your disobedience. Every evil power will not succeed in provoking you. You shall trust the word of God. You will walk in the word.

Remember this, anytime that you decided against the word of God; even after godly counsel; know that there is a hidden cause. The devil will build mountains out of mole hills and make you believe it; beware!

Crushing Evil Nations and Kingdoms

“You [Cyrus of Persia, soon to conquer Babylon] are My battle-axe and weapon of war– For with you I shatter nations, With you I destroy kingdoms. “With you I shatter the horse and his rider, With you I shatter the chariot and its driver, With you I shatter man and woman, With you I shatter old man and youth, With you I shatter young man and virgin, With you I shatter the shepherd and his flock, With you I shatter the farmer and his yoke of oxen, And with you I shatter governors and commanders. “And I will [completely] repay Babylon and all the people of Chaldea for all the evil that they have done in Zion–before your very eyes [I will do it],” says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 51:20‭-‬24 AMP)

The time has come for the God of vengeance to repay the nations that wasted His inheritance. God is commissioning you to arise as His battle axe and weapons of war. As you spend time waiting on the Lord in this season, He is sharpening us as His battle axes and weapons of war to demolish and crush evil nations and to liberate their captives.

Any evil power which holds your family and friends and community captive must let go and let go now. The Lord will raise each one of us as a battle axe and a weapon of war. The Lord will empower you to scatter nations and kingdoms and strange personalities.

Your prayer as you wait on God today is that The Portion of Israel shall prepare and raise you as an effective weapon of war and a battle axe that can shatter the evil nations and kingdom holding on to your inheritance. It is not enough to demolish demonic and evil altars but you must also step out and crush nations and kingdoms that ravage the vulnerable.

As you wait on God you must desire, hunger, and pray that The Portion of Israel, the LORD is His name, shall;

Anoint you

May the Lord anoint you with the Holy Spirit, that He the Spirit of Truth shall lead you into all truth, guide you, show you things in visions and dreams, lift up a standard against darkness, comfort and help you.

Liberate you

May the Lord liberate you from the things that holds you bound. The man of Gadara needed to be liberated. He needed to be liberated from the demonic force that held him captive. May the Lord graciously deliver us from the world and the flesh and societal influence.

Reroute you

May the Lord give you a new sense of direction and purpose as He gave to Cyrus of Persia. May He save us from the broad way we have chosen and set us on the narrow path. May we find a new path and new way to chart.

Resource you

May you never lack resources to champion the cause of Christ. As we wait on God, we are seeking the Lord’s help to find resources to champion the cause of hope and life and liberation. Oh God, send help, send partners, send resources, send money, send people, loyal people to fight along with our fathers!

Fired you up

Finally, our heart desire and prayer is that the Lord should fire us. Push us, drive us, literally project and thrust us. Receive God’s speed. Receive divine acceleration. Press on and push forward!

We are the battle axe of the Lord, His weapons of war to repay the evil nations and evil kingdoms holding the people of God captive. You must arise and seek God for the anionting, liberation, rerouting, resourcing and fresh fire.

Psalm 2 teaches that there is a king in Zion, indeed we are the sons of this king. If we ask, He will give us the nations for our inheritance and the kingdoms for our possession. We are being empowered to handle the nations of the Earth at will, to the extent of dashing them as the potter’s clay.
