This City Can be Saved!

It is the wisdom of God to save the world by the preaching of the gospel. This city will be saved if you believe the gospel. Many shall be added to the church by you merely believing the gospel.Originally published at highcity.org

[Acts 2:41-42,47 KJV] “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. [42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. [47] Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved”.

I believe that God wants to save our city, and I can’t imagine anybody going to hell. We can be part of God’s program to save this city, and add unto the church such as ought to be saved. The simple secrets to have this city turn to God and be added to our fellowship are;

  1. Believe the gospel
  2. Be baptised, and
  3. Continue steadfastly in our fellowship,  doctrine, prayer, and breaking of bread.

The gospel is the power of God to save the world, and the preaching of the gospel is the dynamo that turns the wheels of salvation. It is the wisdom of God to save the world by the preaching of the gospel. This city will be saved if you believe the gospel. Many shall be added to the church by you merely believing the gospel. That is how the early became part of God’s program to save the city.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the next thing we need. You must strive for the Holy Spirit. In Acts 19, when apostle Paul found some disciples in Ephesus, his first question was, “have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?” The baptism of the Holy Spirit is one of the most important experiences every man should have. When the world around you see the anointing on your life they will be saved.

Finally, nothing can save the world around us more than a changed life. When the people around you observe the change in your life and choices; as you continue in our fellowship and doctrine, prayer, and breaking of bread; they will have no option than to believe. What puts the world off the most is our hypocrisy. When we choose and live just like them, when the friends and family around us observe that we do not keep the fellowship and doctrine that we profess, they wonder why they should believe.

I pray that you will believe, be baptized, and continue steadfastly in fellowship and doctrine, prayer, and breaking bread. Nothing will stop us, this city shall be saved and added to us. Stay blessed!

I love you;

Possessing the City

We are set to possess the city; this city for the Lord. As we wait on the Lord, I see Him handing over this city to us. This is the time to possess and take over this city.Originally published at highcity.org

Day 5 of 21 Days of Breaking Limits

[Deuteronomy 7:1-3 KJV] “When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; [2] And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: [3] Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son”.

On this 5th day of our waiting, we want to spend time to pray and prepare to possess the city. The Lord is leading us to possess the cities of the modern day Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than us. We are ready to rise as a combatant army to possess the cities of these seven nations.

It is important to state that every city is defined by people and culture. We can possess the city from within and from a realm higher than the social and geographical. We can fullly possess the city when we endeavour to deal with its;

  1. Walls by praise and faith
  2. Kings by prayer and the sceptre of righteousness
  3. Gates by the name of the king of glory
  4. Strongman by strength
  5. Altars by fire and prophetic declaration
  6. Groves by the weapons of war and threshing instruments
  7. Principalities and princes by the armour, praying and watching
  8. Giants by missionaries and excellence

#1.

We demolish every high hindering wall by the sound of praise! Our praise is breaking down every hindering walls. We command hindering walls to break down now. We enter in by orderliness, silence, trumpets, prophecy, praise and faith. We march round the walls of the city by praise, trumpets, shouts, and silence.

We engage the weapons of marching in array (a symbol of orderliness), silence, timing, shouts, and of praises. From today, Where so ever the soles of our feet shall thread, we shall possess. The high walls are falling for us as they did in Jericho!

#2.

We take hold of the sceptre of iron and dash in pieces the kings of this city as the potter’s clay! We possess the city by the force of prayer. We shall possess by prayer: Prayer will deal with kings and powers. We ask for nations and the heathen for an inheritance (See Psalm 2). We possess the city and the people as our divine inheritance. God said “ask and I will give.” We are asking, and shall possess. May the Lord awaken His church to prayer and give us the city.

#3.

We declare and command all gates to and from this city to give way to the entrance of the word of God. May the gates of the cities give way to the king of the HighCity Doctrine! May the HighCity permeate the very fibre of the cities.

[Psalm 24:7-10 KJV] “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [8] Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. [9] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [10] Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory”.

#4.

We engage the weapons of war against any strong man in this city. We disarm the strong man and take away his armour in which he trusts. We divide his spoil now! We release the souls he holds captive. We over power every strongman that guard the spoil in this city.

[Luke 11:21‭-‬22 KJV] “When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils”.

#5.

I raze down contrary altars erected and ministered upon against the financial fortunes and salvation of the inhabitants of this city by fire and thunder!

I dispatch angelic reinforcement against any person, priest or priestess who ministers at such an altar against the financial fortunes and liberation of the citizens and inhabitants of this city! May the angels of the Lord overpower and disarm them!I judge and condemn any contrary altar set up to fight the faith, health, wealth and liberation of this city in the name of Jesus!

#6

We engage the weapons of war and threshing instruments; And we cut down every evil grove. We pull down the grooves of Baal and burn them with fire!

#7

We wrestle against any principalities and princes. We command them to lose their hold and allow the word of God to have its free cause in the name of Jesus! May the Lord send angelic reinforcement to release our answers. We take charge of the atmosphere and rule.

#8

We pray that the Lord will send more labourers into the vineyard. Lord send labourers, send workforce, send more men and women to work the fields of souls in the name of Jesus Christ.

#9.

Lord deliver the missionaries from wicked and unreasonable men. Deliver your servants from those who do not have the faith. Protect your missionaries in Jesus name!

We are set to possess the city; this city for the Lord. As we wait on the Lord, I see Him handing over this city to us. This is the time to possess and take over this city.

Be blessed; I love you!

Demolishing Evil Altars in Your City

I shall beware of people who always want to hear a new thing.
I arrest every superstitious spirit in my city in Jesus’ name!Originally published at highcity.org

“Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.  For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.” (Acts 17:22‭-‬23 KJV)

Reference: Acts 17:16-34, Psalms 2

An altar is a meeting point between mortals and deities or spirits. It is a place of sacrifice, where humans sacrifice various occultic elements to their gods to invoke their favour to their advantage, or to invoke their wrath against someone. The presence of an altar reinforces the control and doctrine of a spirit.

One truth remain that there are good altars and there are evil altars. Now, in every city, there are altars that are erected which fight the progress of people who defy the demands of the god or diety. There are altars in every city, institution, place, and culture. These altars fight the progress of those who do not submit to its demands.

Sometimes it is at the workplace; if there is something that people do to be promoted, that thing becomes an altar which you must also bow to in order to get promoted otherwise you might stay unpromoted. You can however arise today and fight every evil altar. You must decide that you will demolish these evil altar and take you promotion.

As you sow your seed and make investments, any evil altar erected and upon which sacrifices are made to fight your progress and productivity must break. You must invoke and engage the power of truth and resurrection against that altar.

Any evil person in your life who serves at an evil altar against the progress of your life must not succeed in his craft. May the Lord fire that person out of your life! Sometimes people close to you are actually priests and ministers are some evil altar. They secretly get information from you to use against you at the altar, but may the Lord chase them out of your life with fire and fury.

When you read Acts 17:16, we learn that Apostle Paul was stirred in his spirit. May the Holy Ghost stir you up! May you recieve a holy indignation against any altar erected against you in the name of Jesus Christ! Any evil minister who serves on any evil altar is exposed now by fire!

Any altars erected in this city, in your family, or at your workplace to fight you is rebuked  now in the name of Jesus Christ! From today we shall walk in the spiritual awareness that we are the offsprings of God.

From today we shall beware of people who are always wishing and waiting to hear a new thing. I arrest and bind every superstitious spirit in our community in the name of Jesus Christ! This city shall have light.  My family shall not walk in darkness in the name of Jesus Christ.

We have the rod of iron to demolish these altars and dash them as potters clay. As you wait on God today spend time praying and speaking against any altars erected against your life. Your words can make a great difference. Speak! Don’t hold your peace! Pray and pray again!

Stay blessed; I love you!
