There is No Other Place I Would Rather Be

[Psalm 84:1-4 KJV] “How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! [2] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord : my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. [3] Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God. [4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah”.

One truth is clear, that there is no safe place on earth that you coul rather be than in the courts and the house of the Lord. Every one can find a place of abode in there. The swallow and sparrows find a safe haven in the courts and house of God; you must too. This is the house of peace and refuge. You will be safe in the courts and house of God.

Indeed, the tabernacles of the Lord are welcoming and beautiful. The tabernacles of the Lord reflect the peace and grace of the Lord.

We must cultivate a hunger and longing for the courts and house of the Lord. I pray that you shall have a deep seated longing for the house of the Lord. Coming to church shall be a delight for you. You will long for His presence and the assembly of His saints.

The church is the place our young must play around, spend time, and relax. The sparrow and swallow lay their young even at the altar. The tabernacle is a shelter to the sparrow and shallow and to all who care to come in to worship.

May the blessing of the Lord be upon you as you spend time in the presence of God. You will continue to praise the name of God. Nothing shall steal your joy. Find true fulfillment in His presence.

Be blessed, I love you!

The Church Is a Family

The church is a family, and as you know; you don’t check in and check out of a family; you are born into it and continue with the family all your lifOriginally published at highcity.org

[Acts 2:41-43 KJV] “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. [42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. [43] And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles”.

The church is a family, and as you know; you don’t check in and check out of a family; you are born into it and continue with the family all your life. Many of us are stranded in life because we joke with the church of God. We come in and go out and take the things of God in the church for granted. This is a sin of sacrilege. Many people die early and many become terminally ill because they play games with the church.

I wish to exhort you to understand that the church is the house of God, and He will defend His house to the letter. As you come in, join the family and don’t try to mess with God.

When you join the church, you share in some benefits;

  1. You enjoy the fatness and roots of the church. [Romans 11:17 KJV] “And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;”
  2. You receive shepherdorial care. Your pastor prays with and guides you.
  3. You partake of the spiritual heritage of the church. Even when the Gibeonites lied to Joshua, they still enjoyed the blessing of Israel (See Joshua 9 and 10)
  4. You receive the sharpening and reinforcement of the brethren.

Just like in any good family, every member has some kind of role they play to help the home. If you belong to this family of believers, then you must support us with your;

1. Attendance:

Hebrews 10:25 teaches us not to forsake the assembling together of ourselves. We ought to gather more often even as we see the last day approaching.

2. Obedience:

We must be subject to our pastors, and continue loyally in the doctrine of the church. We must obey and follow the doctrine and report those who try to destroy the church with their attitudes. We must warn the unruly!

3. Prayer:

You will be better prepared to withstand in an evil day when you watch and pray with all prayers and supplication for all the saints and for your pastor (See Eph 6:10-18).

4. Offerings and tithes:

Your offerings and tithes are a reflection of your love for the pastor and the kingdom. When you give, the heavens open and pour you a blessing. Heaven does not just pour blessings but defends your increase.

5. Reverence:

The church that walks in the fear of the Lord experiences miracles. That church literally experiences God. May the Lord rebuke and smite anyone who tries to disrespect our grace. If we allow people to come in to the church and misbehave, we will be cheating ourselves. It will rob us of blessings.

Be blessed, I love you!

Let the Church Pray!

Prayer is one of the things the church must get involved in. We ought to pray always and not to faintOriginally published at highcity.org

[Matthew 6:9-13 KJV] “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. [11] Give us this day our daily bread. [12] And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. [13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen”.

Prayer is one of the things the church must get involved in. We ought to pray always and not to faint. It is my desire that you will join me for at least 10 minutes to say a prayer;

Praise

I pray that as we fix our eyes on the throne of grace and enter into a time of worship, may the glory of God fall upon us.

May the Lord descend and walk in the midst of the church.

I decree that we welcome the Lord to tonight’s meeting.

(Begin to worship the Lord. Worship Him. Bless His holy name. Lead us in Worship)

Kingdom Advancement prayer

I stand in the name of the Lord and I decree now, that the word of God from the HighCity Church shall have a free course with other people as it had with us.

May the Lord deliver you from wicked and unreasonable men!

I pray and declare that doors of ministry shall continue to open unto us. We will serve the Lord all the days of our lives.

(Enforce it prayer; Lift your voice and pray; Clap your hands and pray)

Prayer of providence

We decree by the name of the Lord that any business or career present in the building tonight is receiving grace and blessing to blossom.

May the Lord bless the works of your hands. We silence the adversary. We rebuke enchanters and diviners who have risen against your business.

(Enforce it in prayer; Break the hold of darkness; Speak blessings and grace)

Prayer of forgiveness

Dear God, I know you desire truth in the inward part. Wash me oh Lord and I will be clean. Forgive me my transgressions. I forgive others who have trespassed against me. I refuse to be bitter and offended. Forgive oh God! Wash us in the blood of your Son and restore unto us the joy of Your salvation. Take not Your Holy Spirit from us! Cast none away from Your presence.

Prayer of deliverance

I Pray and ask the Lord to stretch forth His hand and mighty arm to your rescue. May the Lord stretch forth His hand and save us.

Redeem us from the siege of darkness. Deliver us from the spirits of infirmity. Heal and restore us. Break the hold of darkness and let Your children dwell in peace.

May the Holy Spirit lift up a standard against every enemy that has encamped against us. Spirit of God sweep across this city and break every siege. Lift up a standard oh God!

May the almighty Father honour His word.  Have mercy on us; may he not be far from us in this day of trouble, rebuke, and affliction. May the Lord show up!

Oh God, save your heritage from shame! Let not the wicked exact upon us. Save Your own now! We have no help apart from You.

(Enforce it in prayer; Lift your voice and pray; Take it by force and by faith).

Prayer of faith

Father, we affirm that the kingdom is Yours; All power and glory belongs to You.

Let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our God and Maker.

Amen and amen!

Stay blessed; I love you!

Church Growth Cannot Be at the Expense of Church Purity!

The Lord has planted and desire to have a pure church; one that reflects and show forth His glory. We are planted to show forth His praises. We cannot and must not compromise the purity and holiness of the church.Originally published at highcity.org

[1 Corinthians 5:1-8 KJV] “It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. [2] And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. [3] For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, [4] In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, [5] To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. [6] Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: [8] Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth”.

The desire of every pastor and missionary is for the church he plants to grow. We all look forward to seeing increase, but that growth cannot, and should not be at the expense of church purity. The Lord has planted and desires to have a pure church; one that reflects and shows forth His glory. We are planted to show forth His praises. We cannot and must not compromise the purity and holiness of the church.

We must create an atmosphere that is conducive for sincerity and truth, not one that promotes wickedness, lies and lust.

The surprise, however, is when we glory and even feel the presence of God while sin is thriving in the glaring view of the leaders of the church. I pray that the burden of the Lord shall move us to pray and act right. Inasmuch as we want more people to join the church, we cannot allow sin to thrive among us.

The church must not look on while sin thrives; we must stand and confront it. I pray for the boldness of Phinehas for our pastors and leaders. I pray that the church shall be supportive and rally round leadership to fight and purge out every leaven of sin. It is my desire that we shall glory in well doing and not pretend, and think that God will lower His standards.

Let us arise, be real, and deal with the yeast that leavens the whole lump.

Be blessed; I love you!

Transform Your Ministry

The man who stands to minister to the saints must show himself as an example; given to reading, exhortation, and doctrine; and stir up the gift in him. Originally published at highcity.org

[1 Timothy 4:12‭-‬16 KJV]

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee”.

Among other things, there are three key things that transform every bishoprick;

  1. To strive to be an example to the saints.
  2. To give attendance to reading, to exhortation, and to doctrine.
  3. To stir up every gift in you which you recieved when the presbytry layed hands on you.

Ministry is a mystery that cannot be joked with. The man who stands to minister to the saints must show himself as an example; given to reading, exhortation, and doctrine; and stir up the gift in him. May you never fail in your assignment in the kingdom.

May the Lord transform your ministry as you walk in this truth and revelation! Do not joke or play games with this! You will be a blessing to this generation! May the Lord take advantage of your moments to make an impact on the world. May the Lord be your helper!

Be blessed; I love you.

Why We Gather in Church

The gathering of believers is a spiritual gathering and must be esteemed with fear, honour and dignity.Originally published at highcity.org

[Hebrews 10:24‭-‬27 KJV] “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries”.

Today, we want to emphasis the truth that meeting in church is not a social gathering. When we come to church, we have come to Zion; to the assembly of the first born and to an inummerable company of angels. The gathering of believers is a spiritual gathering and must be esteemed with fear, honour and dignity.

[Hebrews 12:22‭-‬24 KJV] “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel”.

If God is everywhere and seek true worshippers to worship Him in truth and in spirit, then why should we waste precious hours coming together in church? Why don’t we just stay home and pratice our faith there? After all, you can call upon God from wherever you are. Well, coming together as a church is so important because where two or three are gather in His name, God is there.

When we are alone God is in us but when we come together, God comes to be with us and among us.

Now, when we come together, there is a way we must behave ourselves in the house of God. This is simply household ettiquette. Apostle Paul taught Timothy to know how to behave himself in the house of the Lord if he (apostle Paul) delays in coming. Timothy needed to know how to behave himself in the house of God, which is the grounds and pillar of truth.

[1 Timothy 3:14‭-‬16 KJV] “These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory”.

How then should we behave ourselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God; the pillar and grounds of truth. We must all understand that when we are coming together, we are gathering to;

Pray:

Prayer is the key thing we must do together when we meet in the house of God. We come to church to pray together for more power and fortification “And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves” [Mark 11:17 KJV]

The house of the Lord shall be called of all nations a house of prayer. Praying is therefore one of the key things we must do together when we meet.

Break bread:

We come together to break bread; The Cup of Blessing which we partake is a means to recieve and inherit eternal life. We must honour the communion, which is the Lord’s Table. It is our secret to health, liberation, and prosperity.

“When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper. For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not” [1 Corinthians 11:20‭-‬22 KJV]

To be taught and edified:

We come to church to be taught and edified. We come to learn how to live by the way, the truth, and the life. The fellowship meetings are a great time to be taught, instructed, and to learn. A fool despises wisdom and knowledge but the wise honour it.

“If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God” [1 Corinthians 14:23‭-‬28 KJV]

Give:

We come to church to give our offering as the Lord has prospered us.
You must purpose and plan your offerings. We come to church to give to support the ministry. 2 Corinthians 8 and 9 teaches this clearly.

“Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem” [1 Corinthians 16:1‭-‬3 KJV]

Praise and worship

We come to church to offer the sacrifice of praise together. Hebrews 13 teaches this clearly. We must come with thanksgiving in our hearts. The courts of the almighty is the best place to offer praises and thangiving.

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord , all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations” [Psalms 100:1‭-‬5 KJV]

I believe we will obey the scriptures and not forsake the assembling together of ourselves.

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries”. [Hebrews 10:24‭-‬27 KJV]

[Acts 4:23‭-‬24‭, ‬29‭-‬37 KJV] “And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet”.

We want to explore some of the factors that lead to supernatural church growth as was experienced in the early church. From this story we can identify four major forces behind this supernatural church growth.

1. Prayer without ceasing:

The early church prayed and prayed and prayed. They lived a life of prayer and they won even over threatening life situations.

2. Depending on the hand of God:

They desired to see the hand of God at work. They were filled with the Holy Ghost. They waited and prayed until they were filled with the Holy Ghost. They depended on the hand of God. They knew that without the outstretched hand of God, no miracles or healings will take place.

3. They went out and spoke boldly when they were filled with the Holy Ghost:

The early church was not timid; they did not apologise for their faith, they spoke more boldly.

4. Those who believed were of one heart and one soul:

Unity of purpose and of souls is a key force to church growth. Those who believed were together. Can we be of one heart and one mind too?

5. They sold assets and gave selflessly to the church to meet needs:

A major force to supernatural church growth and possessing of cities is selfless giving.

Stay blessed; I love you!

Woe unto Them that are at Ease in Zion!

Woe unto those who are so at ease in the ChurchOriginally published at highcity.org

[Amos 6:1‭-‬7 KJV] “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came! [2] Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?

[3] Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near; [4] That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall; [5] That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David; [6] That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

[7] Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed”.

Woe to them that are at ease in Zion and put their hope in the mountains of Samaria!

Woe to them that think they have more time and put the evil day far away! Woe to them that think the evil day is far away! Indeed, evil is much closer than you can imagine. Hell will not walk out and away from the room because you stood up. You must drive out Hell and darkness.

Woe to them that eat and drink and sleep and relax and care less about the affliction of Joseph.

There are many so at ease in Zion, who chant and dance to the sound of music and drink wine. Though they are in the church, they are so at ease and partying as celebrities. We are so enthused by the prosperity and increase that the church has seen, and have soon forgotten that there is so much work to be done. So many are so at ease in Zion.

God is calling us back to awake! It is time to rise again and to care about the affliction of Joseph.

Let us discuss four generations that are at ease in Zion:

The generation of Samson:

These are those who trust so much in their giftings and calling. Sometimes when you have so much confidence of your giftings, callings, and endowment, you throw away caution. Our brother Samson missed it big because he trusted too much in his abilities instead of trusting in God.

The generation of Jonah:

These are those who have so much faith in God’s mercy that they throw away caution. Jonah trusted that God will forgive Ninevah if they repent and for that matter refused to go. This made him too assured of God’s forgiveness for refusing to go to Nineveh.

The generation of the favoured farmer:

The Bible tells us of a man who had a bumper harvest and told his soul to eat and be at ease, because he had so much to eat. There are many of us who all of a sudden have become at ease in all spiritual things because we have seen profit and increase. Woe to the generation of men who are at ease because they have so much to eat and to spend cheaply.

The generation of Job’s sons:

These are people with a mighty father. Sometimes we are at ease because we have a mighty father. It is however important to build your own faith and have your own devotion to God. When you don’t develop your own faith, you become a booty for the devil, like Job’s sons.

May the Lord awaken us to prayer and to holiness once more.

Stay blessed, I love you.

If only You Knew the Terror of the Lord …

We have come to know so much about the grace and love of God but so little about the terror of the Lord.Originally published at highcity.org

[2 Corinthians 5:11 KJV] “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences”.

Sometimes I wonder why a greater portion of the Church is so cold towards the lost and the work of soul winning. Indeed, there cannot be any greater reason than the fact that many of us are unaware of the terror of the Lord. If only we knew the terror of the Lord we would stop at nothing to warn the lost especially our friends and family.

The Apostle Paul states that those who know the terror of the Lord cease not to persuade all men. Those of us who know the terror of the Lord strive to persuade all men. I pray that the church of God will be awakened to discern and understand the terror of the Lord. We have come to know so much about the grace and love of God but so little about the terror of the Lord.

May this generation wake up to this reality. There is no better trigger or catalyst to a revival than the knowledge of the terror of the Lord. When this generation begins to understand the terror of the Lord, we will be moved with compassion to reach out to the lost and the indulgent.

If only we knew the terror of the Lord, we would not be so casual with our response to our duties in the ministry or to the call to service. When we gain understanding into the severity of terror of the Lord, we would be quickened and inspired to reach out to the down-and-out and to the lost.

No sacrifice is too big if it is meant to save the lost and bring the wanderer back home. The value of a soul is too much for any to be lost. The price of winning a soul is nothing as compared to the value of a soul. May the Lord awaken His church to reach out to the lost!

I dare say that if we knew the terror of the Lord, we would stop at nothing to persuade men. This is the time and season to reach out and persuade men. Any value lost in the pursuit of the lost is no loss at all. Arise and get involved!

Stay blessed; I love you!

Many are not Saved Although They are in Church

Many are getting lost because they have lost their crossOriginally published at highcity.org

[fusion_text][James 1:12‭-‬22 KJV] “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Unfortunately, even taking a casual look at the body of Christ shows that though many are in the Church, they are not being saved. Many in the church may die and still go to Hell because they are refusing to follow the voice of God. Many are getting lost because they have lost their cross. They are unaware that we are not like the world.

Many of us just assume that coming to church makes one a Christian. Well spending time in a garage does not make you a car. The time has come for the church to arise and raise our children to understand the reality of the dangers we face out there.

If you can be saved, you must;

Endure temptation:

We must be willing to stand fast in trying times. We must make a choice to stand for the Lord and endure our own trying moments. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. This is the time to accept that it is time to press on and press towards the mark.

Be careful that you are not drawn and trapped by lust and greed. Lust and greed lead to death. Don’t follow either your lust or your greed. We have the assurance that God, the Father of light in whom there is no shifting shadows and variableness, has begotten us by the word of truth, that we should be the first born among His creatures.

Be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath:

Let us beware of offences in our relationships and faith walk. The Scriptures say “our wrath does not work the righteousness of God“. Be very careful of what you do when you are angry. Your anger does not work the righteousness of God. Our wrath and offence always work evil. Let us bridle our tongue, sharpen our hearing, and keep our hearts with all diligence.

Lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness:

Many in the church are not being saved because they are filthy and naughty. Many are overly naughty; they are abundantly filthy. You will perish and never recover if you continue to be filthy and naughty. You must be willing to lay apart all filth and superfluity of naughtiness.

Receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save your soul:

The only thing that can save you is the engrafted word – the word that becomes part of your life and yields fruits.

It will therefore take the doing the word. The Bible says “be doers of the word and not hearers only…”. You must walk in the word; let the word be part of you; keep it in your memory; confess the word; believe the word and press on in it.

This is the time, you will not miss your salvation. You will advance and go far. I cannot shield you beyond what you do with the word I preach. If I preach and say don’t date a stranger, that is all I can do to protect and shield you.

Stay blessed; I love you!
