I want to encourage you to go to church.

[Psalms 122:1‭-‬9 KJV] “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord . Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord , unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.”

“For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.”

The Psalmist said, “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of the Lord.” In fact, we want to come;

  1. Entering his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise
  2. Coming before the Lord with singing
  3. Bowing before the Lord God our maker

We want to lift up prayer and let our songs ascend to the Lord.

Let's go church!

Let us meet in the house of the Lord; because, in His presence, there is fullness of joy; at His right hand are pleasures forevermore.

You have no reason to be absent or late. Iron your clothes, pack your Bible, pens and notebooks, iPads, or pencils.

I am beefing up your morale. May the Lord heal and guide you. May you win and nothing should be able to stop you.

You are blessed and I love you!

Why Many are Still Sick and Weak in the Church

I want to share with you three simple reasons why many are still sick and weak in the Body of Christ.

[Isaiah 53:5 KJV] “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

We must understand that Jesus Christ died and rose again to save us from the control and effects of sin, sicknesses, poverty, and eternal damnation. He gave His life so that we will be saved and live forever. From the Prophet Isaiah, we learn that “by His stripes, we are healed”. The Bible tells us the Lord said “I am the Lord that heals you and will not put any of the diseases of Egypt upon you”. Therefore, the thought-provoking question is, why are some still sick and weak in the church or in the Body?

There are so many reasons why many are still sick and weak in the Body but I want to discuss just three. Many are still sick and weak because;

  1. They walk in rebellion and disobedience
  2. They treat the Lord’s table lightly.
  3. They speak loosely and run their mouth

These are three simple reasons why many are still sick and weak in the Body of Christ.

They walk in rebellion

Rebellion is one of the key causes of sickness and weakness in the Body of Christ. “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land but if you rebellion and disobey, you will be devoured by the sword”. Many are sick and oppressed because of rebellion. I pray that we shall learn to hearken and to keep the word of God.

[Isaiah 1:5 KJV] “Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.”

You will do well if you give yourself wholly to reading, listening and meditating on the doctrine of Scriptures.

Your obedience will bring you healing. “If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land”. Rebellion is a major cause of sickness and weakness in the body. Let us learn to obey and walk in the Word and we will live in health and wealth.

They treat the table of the Lord lightly

The second reason I want to discuss is our approach to the table of the Lord. Most often than not, many of the brethren treat the Lord’s table lightly and that is why many people are sick. We must learn to approach the table of the Lord with dignity and honour. Anyone who approaches the Lord’s table frivolously and lightly could become sick and weak. This was one of the major reasons why people in the church of Corinth became sick and weak and some even died.

[1 Corinthians 11:26‭-‬30 KJV] “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.,”

I wish to exhort you to strive to understand the mystery of the table of the Lord and honour it.

Others are sick because they speak perversion

The Bible says “he that loves life and will see God days must refrain his tongue from speaking guile and his lips from speaking evil.” The things you say with your tongue will impact on your life. The Bible says “a wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness thereof is a breach in spirit.”

[1 Peter 3:10‭-‬11 KJV] “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.”

I have no doubt whatsoever that if we shall learn to walk in obedience, treat the Lord’s table with honour and speak by faith; many shall live in health and wealth as promised by the Holy Scriptures.

Stay blessed, I love you

In John 17, there are seven major concerns our Lord Jesus Christ addressed in prayer. We want to lift our voices and pray for the church. we want to lift a banner of prayer over the church and I believe that God will heal the church.

1. Pray that none shall be lost:

Pray thay as many as the Lord shall add to the church shall remain. We will not lose anyone to hell and destruction. Let us pray that as many as the Lord shall add to us will be retained and we shall grow.

2. Pray that the Father will keep us from evil:

Let us pray that God will keep each of us from evil and deliver us from temptation. The whole world lies in wickedness and there is so much evil in the world. Let us pray that God will keep each of us from evil. Battles are a normal part of this life. It is my prayer that God will keep us from evil and wickedness.

3. Pray that we may be one in Him:

Pray that we will be one in Him. Unity in the body is so important. United we stand; divided we fall. When we dwell in unity, then we are strong. God is not an author of confusion. He is the Spirit of oneness. I pray that the Lord shall heal the cracks amongst us and make us dwell in unity.

4. Pray that the Lord may sanctify us by His Word and truth:

Let us pray that the word that comes forth from time to time shall heal and sanctify us. May the word wash us thoroughly and keep us sanctified. The Lord said “I have sanctified them by your truth”. May you be sanctified in the name of Jesus Christ!

5. Pray that we may know His name:

Let’s us pray that the name of the Lord shall be exalted and magnified in the church. I pray that the name of the Lord shall heal the sick and set the captives free. I pray that at the mention of the name of the Lord every knee shall bow.

6. Pray that we may see His glory in the church:

Let us pray that the glory of God shall be seen among us when we gather. Pray that the glory of God shall be manifested in the church among us. Pray that the luminance of the glory of God shall drive away devils and liberate your mind.

7. Pray that we will do the work of the Father as Jesus did it:

This is our time and now is the season. There is work to be done and we will arise and so that work. Pray that great and effectual doors of ministry shall be opened unto us and we shall possess it fully.

I have no doubt that God has heard us and we will win.

I love you

You Will Never Backslide If You Understand This!

The church can no longer be just buildings and congregations, but families and small groups — Let us arise and begin to worship God in spirit and in truth!Originally published at highcity.org

[John 4:19-24 KJV] “The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. [20] Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship”.

[21] “Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. [22] Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews”.

[23] “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. [24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.

I want to exhort you on the fact that you will never backslide if you understand that God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Many worshippers are not doing well because they have tied Christ and worship to a building; but as I have told you before, Christ and the gospel has had very little to do with buildings and locations. Inasmuch as I am a firm believer in assembling ourselves together, I believe that God is a spirit and those who worship Him ought to worship Him in spirit and in truth. We must begin to shift into the higher realm where we may be far apart geographically and yet so spiritually connected to each other in fellowship.

Thanks to science and technology! Thanks to abounding knowledge, let us learn to walk in the Spirit and connect both virtually and spiritual. The Lord said “a day is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship God in spirit and in truth. We are literally confronted with such a day; though our right to worship has not been taken away from us, the importance to worship together have been downplayed and despised.

A ban on gathering to worship may just be a wake-up call to the church. We ought to understand that we live in epic times and this could spell doom for our freedom of worship. This is the day and time when our rights to worship and responsibility are most needed and should be respected. At least consensus building in placing such a ban would have been helpful. We must, in any case, arise to become the church that can meet as family units and small groups. I pray that this season of not meeting physically will help and lead to the building of the family units.

This is the time to arise as a church to worship in spirit and in truth. There are more dangerous and difficult times ahead. I pray that we shall all be built into a robust church that can worship in spirit and in truth. The church can no longer be buildings and congregations; church has now become families and small groups. Times are changing and the church must get ready to act. Let us arise to begin to worship in the Spirit God.

I speak over your life that great change shall come to you. I declare that you shall walk in realms of power and integrity. May your faith never fail! May we connect virtually and spiritually! You will make it and not fail, Amen!

Be blessed, I love you!

Continue Steadfastly

If you’ve indeed believed and been added to the church, then I exhort you to continue steadfastly in the faith Originally published at highcity.org

I want to exhort you today on continuing steadfastly with the Lord in the faith.

[Acts 2:40-47 KJV] “And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. [41] Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. [42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. [43] And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles”.

[44] “And all that believed were together, and had all things common; [45] And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. [46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, [47] Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved”.

There are so many things that will try to draw you back in this journey of faith. We are up against so many things, prominent among them is the nature of man, the world systems, and the devil. These are three key things that are trying to fight, control and stop you from ever fulfilling the mandate of the Lord.

You are my joy and beloved and crown; I am truly trusting that you shall not fall by the wayside but that you shall overcome to the end. I pray that you will not be trapped by the flesh nor by the world nor by devils. It is my prayer that you shall overcome and prosper as you continue steadfastly.

If you have indeed believed and been added to the church, then I exhort you to continue steadfastly in;

  1. Doctrine
  2. Fellowship
  3. Prayer
  4. Breaking of bread
  5. Sharing
  6. Serving
  7. Praising God

Those who continue in the doctrine of the apostles walk in the fear of the Lord. We must continue steadfastly in the doctrine that is taught in the pulpit.

To continue in fellowship is to continue with the church and with the brethren. To continue in fellowship means you give up all anti-social behaviour that tends to divide the church. In fellowship, we must learn to eat our bread with gladness and singleness of heart. You must live with the brethren with one accord.

We know that we can overcome through ceaseless prayers. We must pray always, pray about things that make us anxious, pray about things we desire, pray for others and for the church. It will simply take prayer. Continue in prayer.

If you’ve indeed believed and been added to the church, then I exhort you to continue steadfastly in the faith

The only secret to tap into eternal life right here on earth is to break bread with the brethren.

[John 6:63 KJV] “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.

[John 6:53-56 KJV] “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. [56] He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him”.

Those who eat the flesh of Christ have eternal life. You will recieve the life of Christ through communion. The bread we eat is the body of Christ and the cup we bless is the cup of blessings. May the Lord bless us indeed.

I love you!

Let Christ be Formed in You

When Christ is formed in you, you have the light that enlightens every man who comes into the world and you become the light of the world. This is why many have become fools; they have rejected Christ who is the wisdom and the power of God.Originally published at highcity.org

I want to speak to you today about the need to have Christ formed in you.

[Galatians 4:19‭-‬20 KJV] “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you”.

It is important to understand that there are two worlds; This present world and the world to come.

Now you need Christ to be formed in you for two reasons;

  1. To give you a competitive advantage to gathering enough resources in this present world to meet needs and
  2. To taste of the power of the world to come before we enter in there.

You must understand that Christ is the wisdom and the power of God that empowers all those who receive Him, even those who believe on His name to become the sons of God. Christ is that wisdom and power of God that empowers us and gives us a competitive advantage in competing for the scarce resources to meet the insatiable needs of man.

We all know that man has insatiable needs and we are all competing for the scarce resources to meet those needs. Everyman on the face of the earth is running after these scarce resources to meet their needs. Having Christ formed in you does not only give you a competitive advantage in life but also you get to taste of the powers of the world to come (See Hebrews 6:4-6).

Any man who disobeys Christ is not wise. We don’t just come to church for coming sake. We come to pray, to worship, to hear, to do, and to give towards the building of the kingdom. That is why the Bible says that it is the doer of the word that is blessed and not the hearer.

When Christ is formed in you, you have the light that enlightens every man who comes into the world and you become the light of the world. This is why many have become fools; they have rejected Christ who is the wisdom and the power of God. Many have become fools and losers because they have rejected the word of God. Our greatest advantage in life comes through Christ in us.

The Bible says that “Christ in anyone of us is the hope of glory.” Without Christ in you, there is no hope of glory. You will end up in shame if you don’t allow Christ to be formed in you. Only Christ in you is the hope of ever walking in the corridors of glory.

How then can Christ be formed in you?

1. Through Baptisms:

We become one with Christ through baptisms; both water and Holy Spirit baptisms. Through baptism, we become one spirit with Christ. The Bible says that “he that has not the spirit of Christ is none of His.”

2. Through the Communion:

The bread and the cup we bless is our connection to the eternal life of God. John 6:53-58 teaches that he that eats the flesh of Christ and drinks the blood dwells in Christ and Christ dwells in him. The communion is an important part of having Christ formed in you. Through the Lord’s table, we become one spirit with the Lord.

3. Through the Word:

Christ is the Word that was with the Father from the beginning, hence, those who have the word have Christ in them. When you receive the word, you are cleansed. The word washes and makes you clean.

4. Through prayer and quiet times:

The fellowship of the Spirit connects us to Him. As we spend time in His presence, we are changed into His image. We are changed into the same glory as we behold.

5. Through the church

The final point of connection is the church. The church is the body of Christ, so anybody connected to the church is connected to the body. Through our connection to the church, we are connected to the body of Christ.

I will encourage you to be connected to Christ, and not just connected but also allow Him to be formed in you; this is your only hope of glory. I encourage you to pray that Christ will be formed in you.

Be blessed, I love you!

The church is not a clinic for sinners but a service station for the believer.

Anchor text

[Hebrews 10:18-27 KJV] “Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. [19] Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, [20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; [21] And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. [26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries”.

Motivation

The only secret to maintaining your fire and zeal for God is to continue in fellowship.  The church is the place where we come weekly and daily for servicing. Our bolts, nuts, oil, water, alignments, balancing, greasing are done in church. When we gather, the gardener comes down into our midst and begin to work on us.

Discussion

The secret to the supernatural, signs and wonders in the church is when we begin to see the church as a service station rather than as a clinic.

We shouldn’t only come to church to find healing, we must come to improve our health. I wish above all things that you will be healthy. The will of God for us is health and not healing. The Scriptures teaches that health and healing is the bread of the children.

We shouldn’t just come to church to be delivered, we must come to be empowered to walk in liberty, because where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.

We must go past the days when we come to church to be freed from debt, and graduate to recieve power to make wealth. He is the Lord that gives us power to make wealth.

As we gather, His spirit dwells within us; and as we come we must desire to catch the presence. Now there are two steps to catching the “flu” of the spiritual presence;

  1. Transformation
  2. Fellowship
  3. Hunger

A magnet, no matter how powerful, can only attract a magnetic substance. The Lord said, “if I be lifted up, I will draw all men to myself”. Indeed, the Lord can only draw people who are transformed into His nature. Amos 3:3 says that two cannot walk together or even fellowship, except they are made compatible. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned, a carnal man cannot recieved them; They are foolishness to him.

The strength of our fellowship with him, determines the extent of our transformation. I pray that from today, you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind by the truth, Amen!

The third thing that enables you to catch the presence of God to your advantage is the extent of your hunger. How much do you want it? Do you even know why you need it? For many of us, life is so cool that we don’t even see the need to hunger and desire God.

This is the time to come into His presence by the new and living way. We must come through the blood that was shed. We must come on the note of the finished work of Christ on the cross. The scriptures encourage us to come boldly before the throne of grace boldly.

Be blessed; I love you!

Not all Churches are Meant to be ‘Mega-Churches’

At both the micro-church and mini-church stages the church, our Lord Jesus Christ reached and offered support to the cities and the multitudes. So, not all churches are meant to be mega-churches, yet all of us can still do mega-ministry.Originally published at highcity.org

[Luke 12:32 KJV] “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom”.

Not all churches are meant to be mega-churches, but every micro-church can do mega-ministry.

A church is a gathering of people to reach out to people and have a fellowship with Christ, but a ministry is a service we offer to save and help the people around us.

Although all churches may not grow into mega-churches, every micro-church can do mega-ministry. It is important to remember that our Lord Jesus Christ did not have a mega-church yet He did mega-ministry. He started with 12 people, increased to 72, then to 500, of which 120 disciples were committed. These would make His “church members”. They formed the core or base of the church. These are the people who reached our to the multitudes that gathered at the crusades. Apostle Paul with 12 men reached all of the then Asia within 2 years. (See Acts 19:1-12)

In Luke 8, with 12 men and certain women, our Lord Jesus Christ reached every city and village; He then sent 72 people out to every village and town in Luke 10. The church in Luke 8 was a micro-church, and the church in Luke 10 was a mini-church; but in both cases, they were doing mega-ministry.

At both the micro-church and mini-church stages the church, our Lord Jesus Christ reached and offered support to the cities and the multitudes. So, not all churches are meant to be mega-churches, yet all of us can still do mega-ministry. We can all reach our communities and serve them.

Let me point out you that the micro-church can have a mega-ministry only in the context of faith and expectations. Trying to do mighty works by the anointing in the atmosphere of unbelief will not work. It takes faith and honour for the anointing to do mighty works.

I pray that the Lord shall drive out any spirit of fear and timidity and give us power, love, and a sound mind. I pray that we shall quit ourselves as men and rise to the occasion. Stay blessed!

I love you;

Why Many Churches are Empty

The key secrets to full house is consistent and shameless invitation. Any church that will be full must make soul winning and invitation their primary focus.Originally published at highcity.org

[Luke 14:15-24 KJV] “And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. [16] Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: [17] And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready”.

[18] “And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.  [19] And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. [20] And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come”.

[21] “So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind”.

[22] “And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. [23] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. [24] For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper”.

The purpose of God is that His house shall be full. God does not want an empty house. He wants a full house. The Lord does not want any empty spaces in church.

Let me say that one of the key secrets to full house is consistent and shameless invitation. Any church that will be full must make soul winning and invitation their primary focus. Bring a friend and teach your your friend how to bring a friend to church.

Many churches are however empty because;

1. Many don’t prepare the meetings with excellence:

The lord sent his servants to invite the people when the banquet was ready. We must try to prepare the meetings with skill and excellence.

2. Many are too laid back:

We take excuses and allow many people to slip through our fingers. We must arise with “Anaideia, Anagkazo, Biazo, Harpazo, and Anthistemi”. We must arise with steadfast impunity to compel the streets and lanes to come in. We must snatch some from destruction by force to snatch some. It’s time to resist devils.

3. Many of us are too high minded:

We are wasting precious time to win people who sell laces and perfumes, when the maimed and poor are waiting, we don’t mind the children who have come, we rather drive them away when we should be welcoming them. Jesus Christ said, “let the children come to me, for such is the kingdom of God”.

4. Many are waiting for the world to come in when we should be going to them to preach the kingdom, heal the sick and cast out devils:

The world will not come and knock on our door, we should be knocking on their doors.

5. Many don’t honour nor believe in our own brand:

We may belong to the same industry but we sell and serve different brands. You cannot sell a product you dont believe in. We must honour and believe in our own brand.

6. Many don’t give it their all:

Until we give ourselves wholly to it, the churches will not be filled. We must give ourselves wholly to the work of ministry.

7. Many lack the systems and structures that foster increase:

Every church must have enabling systems and structures that fosters growth. Every church, according to Acts 6, must put in place systems and structures that allow the pastors to give themselves continually to prayer and the study of the word. This will translate to growth.

8. Many churches lack prayerful studious men in the pulpits:

Many pulpits are just reproducing the same shabby errors and narrow Bible knowledge.

9. Many of the missionaries are too arrogant:

Remmeber, God resist the proud and gives grace to the humble. I pray that God shall raise more humble men and women. May the Lord help us to be submitted to authority set over us. Pride and the quest for fame are key traps of the minister.

I pray that the Lord will give us grace to increase. May your churches never be empty again. May the Almighty God cause the wind of the Holy Ghost to blow in our direction. May men and women from far and near fill our churches in the name of Jesus Christ. Be blessed;

I love you!

Why You Should Decide to Serve the Living God in 2019

Those who have rejected the Lord may seem to be prospering, but soon and very soon, the Lord shall come and save those who serve Him.Originally published at highcity.org

[Malachi 3:13-18 KJV] “Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord . Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? [14] Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts? [15] And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. [16] Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it , and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord , and that thought upon his name. [17] And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. [18] Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not”.

Most of the time, many backside from following and serving the Lord because the rewards of serving the Lord with gladness delays in manifesting. In the text above, we see how Israel backslid and began to speak stoutly against the Lord. The nation of the Lord, like many of us, began to doubt the real need of giving themselves to serve the Lord.

It is too early to start thinking that it is vain to serve the Living God. There is a lot of profit in keeping the ordinance of the Lord. Those who have rejected the Lord may seem to be prospering, but soon and very soon, the Lord shall come and save those who serve Him.

1. Those who serve the living God are delivered and defended in the day of trouble.

[2 Kings 19:15-16 KJV] “And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord , and said, O Lord God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. [16] Lord , bow down thine ear, and hear: open, Lord , thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God”.

[1 Samuel 17:36-37 KJV] “Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. [37] David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee”.

2. Those who decide to serve the Lord shall be saved from the backsliding of the last days.

[1 Timothy 4:1-4 KJV] “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

3. Those who serve the Lord dwell in a city where there is deliverance and possessing of possessions.

[Hebrews 12:22 KJV] “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels”,

[Obadiah 1:17 KJV] “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions”.

You will never regret serving the living God. You will reap the full benefits.

Be blessed, I love you!
