7 Things that Makes Life Worth the Living

May the Lord supply and bless your bread and your water. May you never lack food or water in your home, amen!Originally published at highcity.org

As it was in the beginning so shall it also be. In the beginning, God created man in His own image and after His likeness to rule and to have dominion. Seven things that will determine the quality of your life are your person, blessing, assignment, home, provision, companionship, and fellowship. As we spend this time in prayer, we are trusting God to touch these seven things. I believe with all my heart that these seven aspects of your life can be transformed and will begin to work again amen!

I pray for God to give these things a supernatural touch that will bring the needed transformation that we seek. So, as we wait on God, we are praying that God would;

1. Touch and enlarge your soul:

May the Lord liberate you from any sinful and negative tendencies! May each of us be recreated in the image and the likeness of God. May each of us receive a restored anointing and glory! I pray that the glory of God shall dwell within us and cause us to run and not grow weary, amen!

2. Bless and enlarge your coast:

Pray that the Lord shall preserve you and keep you from falling. As the Lord blessed Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, may the Lord bless and equip you for success and breakthrough. We know that it is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow; may that blessing come upon and transform our lives. May the blessing and the Holy Spirit of the Lord encapsulate or come upon each one of us, amen!

3. Preserve and prosper your assignment and your home:

May the Almighty God bless the works of your hands and protect your home. May your work and home be free from predators! You will not become a prey to death, evil, or pestilence! May heaven sustain and preserve your going out and your coming in! May your work and career and home be protected and prosperous! You shall see increase in the works of your hands and your home shall be a place of rest and a haven of refreshment.

4. Bless your basket and your water:

All year round, may the Lord supply and bless your bread and your water. May you never lack food or water in your home. May this year be a year if goodness and mercy! May the Lord resource and empower you to feed others! You will have more than what you need for the day and shall give to others. This is our prayer and faith, amen!

5. Send helpers and partners:

You will never be lonely. The Lord shall send helpers who will love and support you to discharge the charge on your life. You will be loved and cherished. May God bring you joy and loving companions and helpers who will cherish and make you smile all the days of your life. You shall not know pain, fear, or rejection any more! God will be your first Helper. When all other helpers fail, may God never fail you, amen!

6. Fellowship with the Spirit and brethren:

May you emit sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit and with the brethren. Pray that every time at the feet of Christ in church shall be a refreshing time. Whenever and whoever comes to our services shall have an encounter with God. May the church continue to experience times of refreshing! May the church continue to enjoy the presence of God! None shall run away from the presence of the Lord, neither will the Lord cast anyone out. The Lord will restore unto each of us the joy of His salvation, amen!

Be blessed, I love you!

Believing for the Blessings of a Father

May you not miss your father’s blessings. I pray that your father shall pronounce blessings over you – The dew of heaven, the fatness of the earth, and the abundance of corn and wine.Originally published at highcity.org

[Genesis 27:25-29 KJV] “And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank”.

[26] “And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son. [27] And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the Lord hath blessed: [28] Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: [29] Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee”.

I want to speak to you today about commanding your father’s blessings. The Bible tells us that the blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrows. Without a doubt, there is a supernatural element to becoming rich. It is the blessing of the Lord that makes a man rich. These blessings come in many forms but the most important is your father’s goodwill.

Every father and authority figure has a blessing that you can inherit. Rebecca knew this and she would not take chances at all. Many destinies have been derailed because they profaned their father’s honour. We read from the word that Isaac asked his son to do things that gladden his soul, that his soul may bless him. Both sons prepared him food. They honoured him with a meal. They honoured him as a father and he blessed the one who came first. A blessing may look very insignificant to this present generation, but to have your father bless you is one of the key things that can change your life forever.

The man Isaac blessed his son with;

  1. The dew of Heaven
  2. The fatness of the Earth
  3. Plenty of corn and wine
  4. People serving him
  5. Nations bowing to him
  6. His brethren bowing to him
  7. Curses upon those who curse him and blessings upon those who bless him

These are the seven blessings we are going to believe for. We are trusting that the Lord shall pour this and many more blessings upon us as a father would pour upon his son. I pray that we shall honour the Lord with substance and venison. I pay that the soul of the Lord shall bless us bountifully.

If you want to understand the importance of the father’s blessing, ask yourself why God would raise up John the Baptist with a sole assignment to turn the hearts of fathers to sons and sons to the fathers. This father-to-progeny connection is so important for the transfer of generational blessings. In the same way that generational curses could be transferred, generational blessings can also be transferred.

I pray that as we wait on God, you will repent and begin to seek your father’s blessing. There is a blessing that can be transferred from fathers to progeny, through bloodline, spiritual connection, or through covenants. I pray that the wisdom to act speedily shall come upon you, you shall not miss your father’s blessings. I pray that your father shall pronounce blessings over you. The dew of heaven, the fatness of the earth, and the abundance of corn and wine.

What did Jacob do? He served his father. He served him;

  1. Venison to eat
  2. Wine to drink
  3. Came near and kissed him.

What have you prepared for your father to eat? When your name pops up what does your father think? In many religions and culture venison or meal of deer or stag is sacred. The deer or stag or hind is seen as the messenger of spirits and swift. What meal have you prepared for your father? Does it satisfy his souls?

What have you offered your father to drink? What wine did you serve him? Have you served me wine or vinegar? What is this that you have done? Did you mean to serve me wine or vinegar? Many sons and daughters serve bile and bitter leaves to their fathers. Their foolishness is the source of pain to fathers.

Have you kissed your father lately? Does he know the smell of your body? What does he think when he smells your body? Was it a kiss of Judas or for the kiss of Delilah or the kiss of life?

I pray that this season will open the doors for fatherly blessings to flow.

Be blessed, I love you!

The Anointing You Don’t Honour Cannot Bless You

There may be many charlatans and swindlers going round posing as prophets but there are also real and genuine servants of God. Honour God’s anointed and be blessed by their anointing.Originally published at highcity.org

We are anointed, but the truth remains that the anointing you do not honour cannot bless you.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.

And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son? And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country. But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.” (Luke 4:16‭-‬27 KJV)

I began by teaching you in this Easter Season about the problems that God sent and anointed Jesus Christ to come and solve. This is the same commission on the church. We are the body of Christ on earth, sent and anointed to deal with the problem of sin and death, poverty and lack, blindness and ignorance, captivity to darkness and the flesh, brokenness and depression, bruises and infirmity, and bad seasons and evil days. We are anointed to solve these seven-fold problems.

Our Lord Jesus Christ announced this in the synagogue as He stood up to read. He declared it boldly and we have the same mandate and power. We are called and graced with the same grace to solve problems.

The Lord has anointed His church to solve problems and to break the hold and dominion of sin, death, poverty, blindness, darkness, infirmity, evil days, and depression. We are anointed, but the truth remains that the anointing you do not honour cannot bless you.

The Lord was quick to tell the Jews that inasmuch as there were many lepers in the days of the prophet Elisha, none was healed except Naaman the Syrian, there were many widows in Israel but none was helped except the widow in Sarepta. Until you learn to honour the anointing, it cannot bless you. That is why the devil will try everything possible to discredit the anointing.

I exhort you to honour the anointing and the anointed. You must learn from Naaman and the widow of Sarepta. They both obeyed and sowed their seed into the ministry of the anointed. We cannot do any less. You must be willing to obey the word as we declare the whole counsel of God. May the Lord help us to honour the anointing and the anointed!

I speak as the oracle of God; when you learn to honour the man of God, his anointing will deliver the miracle and results. The Bible tells us in Acts 8, how the whole city of Samaria was filled with miracles and signs because with one accord they gave heed to the preaching and message of Philip.

The anointing you don’t honour cannot bless you. It is the anointing you honour that will bless your life. The widow of sarepta and Naaman were blessed because they honoured the anointing and the anointed.

Our Lord Jesus Christ told the people of Nazareth that; unless they learn to honour the anointing, they will die of poverty, blindness, captivity, bruises, broken heartedness and from evil days. The anointing blesses those who honour the anointed. Ghana! Honour the anointed!

There may be many charlatans and swindlers going round as prophets, but there are also real and genuine servants of God. Don’t fall into the trap of hasty generalization. You must be smart enough to know the grain from the chaff. I believe that you can begin to honour the servants of God sent to you and be blessed by their anointing. I hope you will listen!

Stay blessed; I love you!
