7 Things that Makes Life Worth the Living

May the Lord supply and bless your bread and your water. May you never lack food or water in your home, amen!Originally published at highcity.org

As it was in the beginning so shall it also be. In the beginning, God created man in His own image and after His likeness to rule and to have dominion. Seven things that will determine the quality of your life are your person, blessing, assignment, home, provision, companionship, and fellowship. As we spend this time in prayer, we are trusting God to touch these seven things. I believe with all my heart that these seven aspects of your life can be transformed and will begin to work again amen!

I pray for God to give these things a supernatural touch that will bring the needed transformation that we seek. So, as we wait on God, we are praying that God would;

1. Touch and enlarge your soul:

May the Lord liberate you from any sinful and negative tendencies! May each of us be recreated in the image and the likeness of God. May each of us receive a restored anointing and glory! I pray that the glory of God shall dwell within us and cause us to run and not grow weary, amen!

2. Bless and enlarge your coast:

Pray that the Lord shall preserve you and keep you from falling. As the Lord blessed Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, may the Lord bless and equip you for success and breakthrough. We know that it is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow; may that blessing come upon and transform our lives. May the blessing and the Holy Spirit of the Lord encapsulate or come upon each one of us, amen!

3. Preserve and prosper your assignment and your home:

May the Almighty God bless the works of your hands and protect your home. May your work and home be free from predators! You will not become a prey to death, evil, or pestilence! May heaven sustain and preserve your going out and your coming in! May your work and career and home be protected and prosperous! You shall see increase in the works of your hands and your home shall be a place of rest and a haven of refreshment.

4. Bless your basket and your water:

All year round, may the Lord supply and bless your bread and your water. May you never lack food or water in your home. May this year be a year if goodness and mercy! May the Lord resource and empower you to feed others! You will have more than what you need for the day and shall give to others. This is our prayer and faith, amen!

5. Send helpers and partners:

You will never be lonely. The Lord shall send helpers who will love and support you to discharge the charge on your life. You will be loved and cherished. May God bring you joy and loving companions and helpers who will cherish and make you smile all the days of your life. You shall not know pain, fear, or rejection any more! God will be your first Helper. When all other helpers fail, may God never fail you, amen!

6. Fellowship with the Spirit and brethren:

May you emit sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit and with the brethren. Pray that every time at the feet of Christ in church shall be a refreshing time. Whenever and whoever comes to our services shall have an encounter with God. May the church continue to experience times of refreshing! May the church continue to enjoy the presence of God! None shall run away from the presence of the Lord, neither will the Lord cast anyone out. The Lord will restore unto each of us the joy of His salvation, amen!

Be blessed, I love you!

Secrets To Fulfilling Your Mandate By Unction!

There is a demand and a mandate on your life; there is an assignment that every life must fulfill.
We want to discover the secrets of the Lord that can equip and empower us to fully discharge the charge on our lives.Originally published at highcity.org

“Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,  Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.  Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.  From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.  There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.  Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.  Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.(Joshua 1:1‭-‬9 KJV)

Today I came to announce to you that there is a demand and a mandate on your life; there is an assignment that every life must fulfill.

We want to discover the secrets of the Lord that can equip and empower us to fully discharge the charge on our lives.

I can assure you that with these secrets no man, woman, demon, witch or wizard can stop you from fully discharging your charge.

These secrets will help you to make your way prosperous; whether you are a preacher, politician or peasant.

We understand by the text that when Moses the servant of God died, the lord appeared to Joshua the son of Nun;  and gave him instructions as to how he can make his way prosperous. You can make your way prosperous if you want. Success comes to those who want to. Nobody stumbles into success.
You can prosper and succeed in this year of grace if you really want to.

What are these keys? We understand that when Moses the servant of God died:

  • God spoke to Joshua, the son of Nun, Moses’ minister : you need the voice of God in your life if you fully want to discharge the charge on your life.
  • Joshua had earlier on received a transference from his pastors through the medium of laying on of hands: he had received wisdom from God”

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.  And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, Deuteronomy 34:9‭-‬10 KJV

Joshua was anointed and filled with the spirit of wisdom. You may not have the grace and be as powerful as your pastor; but you don’t need to. You must have your own grace as you have received it from your pastor as God deems fit and right.

Yes, there was no prophet as Moses but there was a charge for a Joshua to keep.

  • You must understand and distinguish between your calling and purpose: Joshua succeeded by unction because he understood his calling and knew his purpose.

Many people fail because they dont know the difference between their calling and purpose.

You may have been called to be an educator, but you must understand your purpose at your present employment. You may be working in a school but your purpose there is to teach and not to administer the school.

Understand your calling and purpose. Don’t mix them up. You may be called to work in a hospital after medical school; but you must understand your purpose.

There is a difference indeed between your calling and purpose.  Joshua understood his calling and purpose. His calling was to lead Israel, but his purpose was to distribute the promise land among them.

  • Know and spend time in your book of instruction: if you want to make your way prosperous, spend time in your book of instruction.(Psalm 1)  Many of us have not read any book to improve ourselves since graduating from school. The scriptures teach us that we can make our way prosperous when we spend day and night in our book of instruction.
  • Then finally, we must have the right attitude towards life and calling: God said “be strong and courageous…”

It is possible to fully discharge your charge by unction and absolute control if you engage these secrets.

Stay blessed, I love you.

4 Things Every Man Needs to Have Before Proposing to a Woman

A man without an assignment is a stooge, and does not deserve any intelligent womanOriginally published at highcity.org

“And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.  But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.  And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed” (Genesis 2:5-8 KJV)

There are certain stages on the road to marriage; Acquaintance, date, proposal, courtship and marriage. Before a man crosses to the proposal stage on his road to marriage, he must have these 4 things I am going to share with you in today’s devotional.

These four fundamental things a man must have before even thinking about love, proposal and marriage are;

  1. Worship
  2. Assignment
  3. Home
  4. Maturity

Now let us take a closer look at them one after the other;

  1. Worship

Until a man is settled on matters of faith, he has no business looking for a helper. Faith and the things we submit to determines a lot about our lives. Faith and religion determine what we wear, what we eat, what we ascribe to and even think. This makes it very important to settle on this all important decision before you consider taking a woman for his helper. Be sure you worship something and settled on that before proposing to a woman.

  1. Assignment

The second thing is assignment, God did not give Adam a wife until He had given him his assignment. A man without an assignment is a stooge. We must have a definite assignment to be suitors for any intelligent woman. A wife is a helper; you must therefore choose the helper based on your assignment. You cannot choose a woman made and raised to help a politician when your assignment is to preach the gospel. It does not work like that.

  1. Home

The third thing a man needs before proposal is a home. Adam had a home before Eve came. God planted a garden and put man there before Eve came. A man who deserves the attention of an intelligent woman must have an address.  A home goes beyond a rented apartment. A home is more permanent. It is unwise to meet a man in Accra and settle down. In Africa, it is important to know where he hails from. This is so that you can track him to his family. This may be different in Europe and elsewhere but here in Africa, don’t sleep with a man until you know his family house in his hometown.

  1. Maturity

Lastly, a man must show and possess maturity if he wants a wife. Woman, don’t marry a boy! We must strive for maturity so that we can bring up our families in the style of royalty.

Remember! Son, you need worship, assignment, home and maturity before thinking of proposing to a wife.

Stay blessed; I love you!
