Steps to Reach Entire Cities for Christ

In the same way that 12 men, together with their pastor, could reach the whole of Asia in 2 years, we can reach entire cities for Christ.Originally published at highcity.org

[Acts 19:1-12 KJV] “And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, [2] He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. [3] And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. [4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. [5] When they heard this , they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. [6] And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. [7] And all the men were about twelve.

[8] And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. [9] But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

[10] And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. [11] And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: [12] So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them”.

I have faith that this thing shall grow and take over the entire city and every other city the Lord shall send us to. In the same way that 12 men, together with their pastor, could reach the whole of Asia in 2 years, we can reach entire cities for Christ. Nothing shall stop us. If God did it for Ephesus, that same God will do it for us. You don’t need any special gift to reach entire cities for Christ.

To reach entire cities for Christ;

1. Recieve the Holy Ghost if you have believed:

Be anointed, hunger for the anointing. Jesus told them to wait in Jerusalem until they are endued with power from on high (Luke 24:44-52).

2. Be separated and decided to be part the faithful remnant:

Every mission begins with a little flock. The mission in Ephesus began with twelve men who had believed after the extensive work of the apostle, Appollos. Your church may start with 2 or 3 attendees, but decide to be part and committed to that remnant. Because God always works with a remnant.

3. We must be committed to regular fellowship, teaching and prayer with thanksgiving and without wrath:

Sometimes, traveling long distances to go and preach to 2 people can be very frustrating when you forget the value of a soul. I exhort you to be committed to this fellowship and teaching and prayer meetings. This is why God is showing us “little” mercies, don’t play down on it.

4. Team up with others who call upon God out of a sincere heart to infiltrate the dark world:

Step out two by two to infiltrate the dark world with the gospel and power; in obedience to preach the kingdom, heal the sick, and cast out devils. We must reach out. We must preach; men to men, women to women, children to children. God sent Paul and Barnabas,  not Paul and Cynthia; Paul traveled with Silas, not Sussan. Care should be taken when we are on the mission field.

5. Give honest and timely feedback:

Don’t wait to be asked, you must report back. The disciples reported back to Jesus. They did not wait for Jesus to call them, they reported back to Him. They gave Him feedback. Not just on missions but even feedback on their personal lives.

6. Arise to thread upon serpents, and scorpions, and every power of the enemy:

Arise with force to crash the gates of hell. Without prayer and aggressive warfare, most of our churches will be empty.

7. Be willing to be an allos:

Another of the same kind. They took aprons from the body of the apostle and laid it on the sick. They did not have a personal plan or strategy. They were willing to walk in the wisdom of their father. There is nothing like being “original”. Any missionary who is not willing to be an allos will remain alone. You must be willing to look like and do things as your pastor.

May you get to the place where we can amplify our ministry through signs and wonders. Everybody in the church became a miracle worker. Everybody could cast out devils. We can also amplify our ministries and walk in the supernatural. Be blessed.

I love you!

Stand up to Life!

There is a purpose for your life and you must run with that purpose. You are an eagle and not a chicken. You can, and will make it if you try.Originally published at highcity.org

Stand up to life; you are too saved and graced to bow out! You have what it takes to live a higher life in Christ Jesus where you belong. You belong to royalty and you cannot bow out.

[Joshua 1:1-11 KJV] “Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, [2] Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. [3] Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. [4] From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

[5] There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. [6] Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. [7] Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

[8] This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. [9] Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

[10] Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, [11] Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it”.

It is time to stand up to life and run with vision. It is time to discharge every charge of our lives. This is the time to;

  1. Shake off the dust
  2. Be strong and courageous
  3. Step out and take risk; nothing beats experience.

You are too gifted to fail! We are recreated, blessed, seated, mandated, and fed to rule in life.

  • We are recreated in the image and likeness of the Christ to reign on life by him.
  • We are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places to be fruitful, subdue the earth, replenish and fill it.
  • We are seated in heavenly places in Christ far above all principalities, powers,  dominions, and thrones.
  • We have tasted and been partakers of the heavenly gift, the Holy Ghost, the good word, and the power of the world to come.

This is the time to stand up to life. You are too gifted to fail. There is a purpose for your life and you must run with that purpose. You are an eagle and not a chicken. You can, and will make it if you try.

Are You Ready to Take Risk?

Your life, shall revamp and make gains if you can engage the following master keys that brought victory to Deborah and Israel

Are You Ready To Take Risk? was originally published on HighCity Church

Are-You-Ready-To-Take-Risk“The people of Gilead stayed in their camps on the other side of the Jordan River. As for you, people of Dan, why did you stay by your ships? The people of Asher remained by the sea, camped near their safe harbors.  But the men of Zebulun and Naphtali risked their lives fighting on those hills.  The kings of Canaan came to fight, but they didn’t carry any treasures home. They fought at the city of Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo.  The stars fought them from heaven. From their paths across the sky, they fought against Sisera.  The Kishon River, that ancient river, swept Sisera’s men away. My soul, march on with strength!  The horses’ hooves hammered the ground. Sisera’s mighty horses ran and ran.  “The angel of the Lord said,‘Curse the city of Meroz. Curse its people! They did not come to help the Lord fight.’ They did not help the Lord against his powerful enemies.  Jael was the wife of Heber the Kenite. She will be blessed above all women.” (Judges 5:17-24 ERV)

Today’s Reading: Judges 5

Judges 5 is the song that the prophetess Deborah sang after the Lord worked victory for Israel against Sisera, a pagan king who had oppressed them for years.

From Judges 4 :1-3, After Ehud died, Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord sold them into the hands of the king of Canaan, who mightily oppressed them. The story of Deborah in the Bible and her song especially teaches great secrets that can set any generation of men free from oppression.

We learn from the story how against all odds Israel won the victory in battle against oppression of the mighty and well-resourced enemy.

I speak over your life and generation that the mighty and wicked shall not oppress you for ever. Your life, family, this church and your ailing business shall revamp and make gains if you can engage the following master keys that brought victory to Deborah and Israel;

1. Cry unto the Lord:

Do you want victory? Do your desire a better life? Do you want to see the end to the elements that oppress and impoverish you? Starting at the beginning, pray earnestly. In Judges 4:3, we learn that Israel cried out to the Lord, do you know why? It is because a man can receive nothing, except it be given him from above (John 3:27). Besides, by the arm of flesh shall no man prevail (1 Samuel 2:9). Those who prevail over difficult situations and circumstances of life start and end their day with prayer.

David prayed 3 times daily, Daniel prayed three times daily, the Lord Jesus started His day with prayer (Mark 1:35)

2. Listen for the Word:

The second step to ‘sweatless’ victory over mighty oppression and poverty is the commanding voice of His majesty. Indeed, the Lord is not obligated to deliver what He did not promise. You win over oppression and poverty by engaging the Word of God. In Judges 4:6, the prophetess Deborah sent and called Barak and gave him the Word of God. As I speak, may you hear the voice of God commanding you on what to do in Jesus’ name.

3. Arise and rally:

The third secret to victory over oppression and poverty is the rising of God-ordained leaders and the rallying of fearless and dedicated army of followers. Judges 4:10 reveals that Barak and Deborah arose and called Zebulun and Naphtali, and 10 000 soldiers came. As you arise may men and women who are ready to take risks gather and rally with you in Jesus’ name.

In Judges 5, we understand that there were no soldiers in Israel in those days until Deborah arose. Arise, shine for thy light is come (Isaiah 60:1)

4. Be ready to take risks even unto death:

Glory to God! Though others may slack and be at ease, the stars of heaven, the rivers and elements in them, the angel of the Lord and wise housewives from a far country shall all come together to fight for you against your oppressors. (Judges 5:14-27)

Are you ready to take risks?  This is my most important question to you today. We will win over every oppression when we pray, engage the Word, arise and rally, and above all, go all out; All out for the course of freedom, and for the course of the Lord.

You cannot sit on the fence, you cannot be double minded, neither can you stay with the sheep and enjoy music, and still win the battle against oppression and poverty. You must pray, engage the Word of God, arise and rally, and get down to the valley and even to the mountains to fight. And God will be waiting for you there, and the elements of the heavens, rivers, angels and women in the country shall come out to deliver the victory blow.

Stay blessed! I love you!

Prophetic Prayer Points for 21 Days Breaking Your Fallow Ground

1. Father deliver us from the oppression of the mighty and from poverty.

2. Dear Father, in the Name of Jesus send Your Word, speak, utter Your voice! command us as Your troops and we shall step out.

3. Dear God as we arise, let the fighting men rally with us. Send men who are ready to take risks, send those with the ready pen of scribes. Bring along those with the grace of governance and strategy. Lord stir up the heart of experts. Bring them to help the course of Christ.

4. Lord, as we step out to take risks, command the Stars of Heaven to fight against our oppressors. Let the torrential currents of the rivers sweep them away. May the angel of the Lord utter His voice against them. Above all let the peg from the tent of Jael pierce their temple. Discomfit the oppressor in the name of Jesus Christ!

5. Disappoint those waiting to hear the news of our destruction. Put them to shame in Jesus’ name. Bring us out of every horrible pit and put a new song in our mouths. Cause our souls to sing again as Deborah and Barak sang.

6. Finally, prepare us for the victory, and the journey of rebuilding our lives in the name of Jesus!

Amen!
