How to Win in the Battle of Life

I want to speak to you about winning in the battle of life. We are in a race against time for the scarce resources, and for the best opportunities.

The truth remains that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong… It is time and chance that happens to them all. You have a choice to arise and get going; or to sleep and rot in shame!

It is important to understand that there are things in the environment that are fighting everyone of us. Some are visible and others invisible, some earthly and others are cosmic. Some belong to the realm of thrones, principalities, powers, and dominions (Colossians 1:13-17).

The simple secrets that will empower you to win in the battle of life and to maximise your potential are;

1. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of God’s might.
2. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
3. Take a stand and do all that it takes to withstand even in the evil day.
4. Pray, supplicate, and watch with all perseverance in the Spirit.

[Ephesians 6:10‭-‬20 KJV] “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”

These are the four simple keys to win in the battle of life. You cannot ignore any of these keys if you are really determined to win in the battle of life. You must engage and walk by these truths;

1. Let us pray that the Lord will give us his Holy Spirit:

Pray that you shall be empowered by the Holy Ghost! In John 14:16, the Lord prayed that the Father would send another Comforter. The Bible tells us that we shall recieve power after the Holy Ghost is come upon us.

2. Remember that John says in 1 John 5:16 that we should pray for brethren that we have seen sinning:

Lift up your voice and pray for any of the brethren who have been caught in sin. Lift the prayer and intercede for one another. There is a sin that leads to death; pray!

3. Let us pray for one another that the Lord will heal us:

Apostle James instructs us to pray for one another that God will heal us. James 5:16. Sin has made many sick and weak and broken. Sin causes infirmities and sickness; pray that the Lord will heal us! Pray that God will heal our addictions, infirmity and sicknesses! Pray!

4. Pray that none of us will enter into temptation:

[Luke 22:40 KJV] “And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

Prayer is one of the most effective weapons against satanic attacks and temptation. let us pray that the Lord will deliver us from temptations. Pray that the Lord would not lead us into evil! Pray! Pray!

5. The Pray that the Lord will count us worthy to escape all things that shall come to pass and to count us worthy to stand before him on the last day:

(Luke 21:37) Let us pay for that mercy and grace to escape the things that shall come upon the earth. Pray! Lift up your voice and pray! Pray!

6. Let us pray that we will be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might:

Pray that you may keep on the whole armour of God. Every one of us must be fully dresse, pray that you can take a good stand to withstand at all cost even in an evil day.

Pray that you can continue steadfastly in prayer, supplication, and watching in the Spirit with perseverance.

You must and will win in life; the battle shall not turn against you. God will be on your side. You will win and not fail!
